Amazon Brand - Solimo Diabetics' Skin Moisturizing Lotion, Fragrance Free, 13 Ounces

Others have commented on this; I should have listened -- but there's a work-around. I haven't used it long enough to comment on its moisturizing benefit but HAVE observed that the pump supplied is useless. The product is so viscous it should have instead been packaged in a jar (see photo). I cut open and spooned the content from the original bottle into a surplus hand cream jar (the labels are transferable). Now I just scoop it out as needed and the pump is in the trash.

I am diabetic and suffer from really dry, flaky skin. I have tried several lotions for my skin and they moisturize for about 10 mins. then here comes again the dry, flaky skin. This lotion is awesome! I apply it once a day and by the end of the day my skin still and looks moisturized. So glad I found this lotion, I would highly recommend!!!!

I usually purchase Gold Bond or Aveeno. Decided to give Solimo a try. The pump was fine, but I'll keep the pump I have in case of any future problems. Most inexpensive of the three. Also get 13 ounces instead of 12 from the others. The cream is thinner than Gold Bond, thicker than Aveeno. Just the proper viscosity for me. Did not notice a perceptible scent. Good skin coverage and results.

I am lotion-obsessed but can’t wear anything with a fragrance, so it’s difficult finding good lotions. I had been using Gold Bond for a long time, but really wanted to find something a bit more affordable so I decided to give this a try. The lotion is great! I can’t tell a difference between Solimo and Gold Bond; it’s thick, creamy, and feels great. And no frangrance to irritate my allergies. I will definitely keep buying this lotion.

The lotion is good, once you can figure out how to get it to pump. I think the pump is too narrow for this highly viscous stuff. I soaked the bottles (all 6 of 'em) in hot water ... I put them in front of a heater ... I finally nuked them to get the lotion runny enough that the pumps would prime. When it comes time to reorder (might be awhile -- I have 6 bottles in various places around two homes), I'll be checking the reviews to find out whether or not the physicists have rethunk the workings of the pumps.

Pros: The lotion is great, it’s unscented and really moisturizes. It doesn’t take much to get the job done either.Con: the pump on the bottle does NOT work. I believe the lotion is too thick for it.. Had to take pump out and use “like” a squirt bottle... Not ideal. Considering the amount of bad reviews for the pumps they should really redesign the bottle!

I purchased this diabetic skin lotion for my husband, who is diabetic, but have started using it for myself because it is a great moisturizing lotion. The price is great compared to other name-brand diabetic lotions which can be found in the grocery store or pharmacy. I will be reordering and continuing to use the lotion. I gave it a 4-star review because I have been very dissatisfied with the delivery process for the lotion. I have 6 bottles and so-far 4 of them have had non-working pump dispensers. The lotion is very thick and I don't know if that prevents it from coming up through the pump no matter how many times I push on the pump trying to prime the plunger. I would prefer a squeezable bottle rather than a pump-action bottle. I'm considering purchasing a universal cap that I allows me to store/stand the bottle on end to allow gravity to make dispensing less irritating.

I've been using Gold Bond Unscented Diabetic Moisturizer for years. Amazons Solimo is a better moisturizer at a much better value. Try it. You won't be disappointed!
