This is great, especially if you re-use oil to fry things. The strainer it comes with makes it easy to re-use the oil without having old food bits in it. It's large size can accommodate sufficient amounts of oil for frying. It's also nice to have to discard oil quickly and conveniently without searching for somewhere to discard the oil. We used to use old cans, but it was always a mess, this is much better. Definitely recommend for anyone who cooks a lot and has issues with oil.

May be too light duty for my use. Hard to clean the screen once bits and oil are cold. Be careful where you put this when with hot oil because the metal dish below gets hot as well.

I like that the strainer isn't mesh, which makes it a lot easier to clean with a sponge. The mesh strainers are really hard to clean with little bits getting stuck in them. They also break easily if you're too rough. This one is a lot better. The only downside is that it filters the oil a lot more slowly than the common mesh strainers. The stainless steel look isn't as nice as the other containers, but I am very satisfied with its functionality.

This is a nice oil container, large enough for the oil that fills a fry daddy, but small enough so that it doesn't take up too much space in the refrigerator. The strainer works well for screening out anything left in the oil after cooking. I really like the streamline style. It fits perfectly on my gas top burners which is where I use it anyway, so it's easy to grab. The screen works well and cleans easily. Glad I got it!!

My grandmother and mother had ones similar to this on their stove to store bacon grease. This one has a finer mesh so all you get is the grease and not any of the debree left in the pan. I love it and so does my husband. Now we use alittle bacon grease for seasoning vegetables. It's perfect!
