We use this mostly for math at the moment because my son is still a 1st grader but ahead in math. This is enough challenge but not too much

The colorful illustrations and interactive elements make learning feel like a game, which is a big plus in keeping a young learner’s attention.However, while the workbook is comprehensive, some of the activities might require additional guidance for children who are new to certain concepts. Also, the binding of the book could be a bit more robust to withstand frequent use. But these minor points aside, the Brain Quest Workbook has been an invaluable tool in reinforcing what my child learns at school and fostering a love for learning at home.And for a dad joke: Why did the math book look sad? Because it had too many problems!

I homeschool my children and am always looking for books to allow them “independent study” time. This book is great! It has a lot of details and information provided, an answer key at the back and a variety of good subject material. I was excited that it also has a section for cursive writing as not many resources teach this anymore! Well worth the money.
