ESP LTD KH-202 Signature Series Kirk Hammett Electric Guitar, Black

Was having trouble finding this guitar in stock, but it was the one my teenage son wanted. It came packed extremely well, and made his 16th birthday memorable. It sounds great, looks great, and is better quality than his starter guitar. No info was included about the locking nut. While it is simple in what it does, having some info on it included with the guitar would have been very welcome. Seems like something the maker of the guitar should include, it would have saved me some internet searching. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s for my 15yo daughter who wants to start playing, the finishing is smooth and size is perfect I highly recommend this guitar, pick ups a little noisy I think but you can fix that using a noise reducer on your head amp

Pretty happy with the entire experience from finding the exact item I was searching for to the purchasing process. The item arrived quickly and it was well packed, no tears or any part of the box was disturbed. It is a brand new item as described.... I use Amazon alot and this was one of the biggest items I've purchased and I am always concerned about shipping bigger items, I have no worries now.

This is my 5th guitar, I have a Mexican Strat, Epiphone Les Paul, Washburn MG42, Wylde Audio Odin and recently purchased this ESP LTD KH202 from Amazon. I have always been a huge Metallica fan and enjoy chunking out some riffs, I had debated a White Zombie or KH602 but really wanted to stay below $500. I love the guitar and enjoy playing on it, however, there is some Pros and Cons about it.Pros:- Gorgeous design, sharp lines, and the reverse headstock is an awesome touch.- The guitar is easy to play, slim neck, I personally don't mind thick or thin but easy to play.- Build quality is pretty good.Cons:- The fretboard is not Rosewood, it is dyed Maple. I can clearly see through areas of the fretboard and I can tell the Maple Neck was dyed dark brown, the fretboard is not a separate layer of wood.- For $500 the guitar should have come with EMG 81/85. The ESP LTD M400 is the same guitar for the same price and comes with ESP Active Pickups.Overall I like the guitar but a little disappointed in some features. My Washburn MG42 is pretty similar and I purchased that for $300.

Bought this to add to my guitar collection and must say is a much better quality guitar over some of my other guitars. Of course first off I have never had a guitar with a Floyd Rose bridge before and after getting it went to put new strings on it. Had to do some looking into the whole Floyd Rose Bridge first and then after doing a couple strings I started to get the hang of it. After replacing the strings and then playing around with getting everything correct and in tune it had held tuning pretty well and sounds really great. Though not to thrilled with the Floyd Rose locking nuts on the neck since I tend to rub against them when using 1 and 2nd fret but I just need to adjust my playing to it.
