Imitation Leaf for Gilding Crafting, Arts Project, Furniture Decoration, 5.5 by 5.5 Inches (Silver, 300 Sheets)

this is my first attempt at silver leaf and I love the end result. It's exactly as I envisioned it. It's a great buy for the money and the sheets worked great. As with all silver leafing, the sheets are fragile so you need to use care when picking them up but after watching a you tube video I knew what to expect and all went well.

Gilded a smooth wooden picture frame. After a little bit of trial and error, project came out just the way we wanted it to. Would definitely use this again.

Great way to cover a lot of surface area quickly. Great price too! I couldn’t tell a difference between how this looks and real silver leaf. It doesn’t give as good of a texture as loose silver leaf but with some experimenting I got great results on my project

Once you figure out the adhesive you are using it’s a wonderful product.

I liked the price for what it's worth. But I've never used legit silver leaf or ever attempted gilding anything before. My onlymain problem is with the adhesion. How do I get it to stay put once its down? I've used that craft spray adhesive/sealer spray and that didn't work. And I've also used clear enamel spray and it still comes of quite easily if pressure is placed on table top such as an elbow in particular. I used the same craft adhesion stuff but it was a paintable version and that was a disaster. So I opted for aqua net hair spray and that worked really well, it smoothed out with no air bubbles almost effortlessly.

I gilded several items using ModPodge and these leaves. It worked out great and they looked very nice.

Amazing product so easy to use, it is fragile but that’s the nature of this craft. Would highly recommend, looks amazing! Haven’t stopped silver leafing everything in sight, would use again for sure!
