Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  So this amp definitely has the power. But at high volume it clips like crazy and if I really cranked it up it goes into protect mode. When I received the amp it looked like it had been used there were some dings on the cover and the remote clipping gauge was scratched. Perhaps I just got a bad amp. I called taramps customer service to see what they could do. First off it was pretty difficult to even find an American number to call. when I called I told them what the issue was and that my voltage never dropped below 13.5 at the amp. the guy basically told me to hook it up to another sub to see if that fixed it other wise I would need to send it in for repair. I told i only had it for 2 days and it looked used when I received it. But he didn’t change his answer. So support is absolute garbage. Thankfully amazon is amazing and gave me a full refund. I will not be ordering another one of these amps. I had read that the Brazilian style amps cannot take a beating and based off of my experience I would have to agree. (Update) 06/21/19. So I ended up getting a audiopipe 2k I had the same issue of it going into protect mode at high volumes. So that led me to believe it was my electrical. After some troubleshooting I found out my power cable was very loose and did not have a solid connection. After tightening the cable the amp was fine and did not have any more issues. So back to the taramps. I still believe that this amp is pretty cheaply made and the quality control seems to be an issue. But as far as it going into protect mode at high volume. I think it was just user error and I wish I had it to test out now that I have fixed the connection problem. It would probably be fine. Update (22JUN20) so I ended up buying another one about a year after the first one. The quality seemed to better the heat sink is more rigid it’s overall heavier and quality control was not an issue. Also the amp is now white rather than metal. When I hooked it up to a proper power supply it has so much power that I had to turn the gain down so I wouldn’t blow my sundown u-10! That’s a 1500 rms sub! The sub was about to jump out of the box. You do need to add at least an extra battery. I’ve heard it’s really bad for these amps to go below 12v. Now I just need to get a sub that can handle this kinda power. 07/22/20. I got two sundown sa 12’s v2. And good god it’s loud see attached video.

I hooked this amp to three twelves in a van and it hits so hard it will blur your vision my neighbor actually got out of the van and got sick told me it was overboard who’s really to judge that though so I bought another one for the fifteen in my car and it might be louder then the van it actually hits so hard it hurts

Well i would like to give a better review but I never really got a chance to hear what this thing could do. Had it installed by a technician. And for some reason it would work one minute and then it would cut off and cut back on but without sound. The tech could tell me why. He said he checked all the wires and everything looked good. So I’m not sure if it’s the amp, I did get it on sale open box. Or something in the wiring. Will update when I know for sure.

I bought this amp and it worked great while I used it for 4 days. Then just yesterday morning it's stuck in clip/temp mode.

Probably good that I forgot how my sub was wired. Great loud boom. Way more punch than a 5000watt Pyle amp bought 3 yrs ago and blew up. This amp is suprising small. Have not got it to go to protect by running hard, just like any amp dont get crazy with turning gains up too far. Was impressed with reviews I found online. If it was the 2 ohm version I'd probably know more cops

Amp arrived before expected which was amazing but when I connected, found out fan is getting stuck and not spinning. Kind of disappointed in this, was ready to thump but just knowing the fan wont kick in is just sad.

Excelente amplificador, he visto que en varios sitios han hablado bien de el y quise probarlo, he visto que ofrece una gran potencia en un amplificador muy compacto. Lo que no me gustó fue que la entrada de corriente es de calibre 4 AWG, no es suficiente para alimentarlo de manera correcta ya que al dar 3000 WRMS es necesario al menos un 1/0 AWG, me hubiera gustado que tuviera esa entrada. El empaque es bueno aunque al venir muy comprimido se daño un poco el logo (se alcanza a apreciar en la primer imagen). También me cobraron un impuesto por importación del 10% en efectivo al recibir el producto, esto no se especifica en ninguna parte, aún así el precio es más barato en comparación con los que se ofrece este producto en México.

I replaced my old mmats 1200.1 with one of these and honestly, I can't believe the difference (or in this case.. lack thereof).. this little amp hammers and has great dynamic headroom especially for being a high voltage amplifier (as they are usually good for burping bass but lack in control).. this little gem is definitely worth more than it's price tag suggests. I have 2 batteries and a 225amp alternator.. it is a must to drive amps like these properly.. this amp draws 300+ amps on full out draw... So it will destroy your alternator if not prepared with a good cap bank to say the least. But worth investing in your power supply because these have a ton of power to give in return.

Hooked up amp(1ohm rating)... was put off by where its made. They did make Stihl chainsaws there, and since I have one made from there and kicks ass, I took the chance and so far so good... Video on youtube showing the shop where they are made, and looks like a clean build company. I have it hooked up to 1x American bass xfl 1244. (2ohm load) Keeping the amp out of the 1ohm load area. Yes it pounds, electrical voltage not all over the place. In a 2004 Ram, regular alternator and regular battery. Its only been a few days, i'm sure will work out. I guess when winter starts, see how the amp components will pan out with the cold weather.

(pro) il prezzo è giusto per questo amplificatore anche se al suo lancio costava molto meno circa 120/180 euro ma dal Brasile, i watt sono più o meno quelli a secondo del voltaggio assorbe meno di 150 ampereper muovere due audio system x-ion da 12 va bene pur aumentando il Phase per avere più potenza a discapito del controllo dei sub, occupa poco spazio rispetto ad altri ampli dello stesso wattaggio . (contro) la regolazione risulta poco sensibile ce di meglio ed è mono suggerisco di farlo stereo a 2 ohm .

Bought it. Hooked it up to 2. 12 inch kicker free air 2 ohm marine subs. In a sealed 5.5 cubic feet box. The gain does nothing. Up full. Off. No difference I bought a pioneer and hooked it to 1 10 inch sub and 6- 5 1/2 inch speakers in the boat. I had to turn the pioneer amps gain all the way off cause it just out preformed this amp to much. I am going to o port my sub box hoping that will help and find a better sub amp. As far as the amp it's self. Gain doesn't work. But. It's been out a few nights on the lake turned up as loud as it will go then back a tad till the distortion stops for a few good hours at a time and it did not cut out it ran hard and problem free. So it's an ok amp. Just not for me. I gave it a 3 taking some good abuse. But out of the box it did not work properly
