Collapsible Tripod Clothes Drying Rack

I rarely give five stars. Before purchase I questioned the tripod legs. For stability, the hanger arms are positioned directly above the legs. The connection for the two pieces is very solid as are all other parts. With a push of a button, easy assembly and disassembly. Disassembled, it requires a small storage area. Not too high for my short wife. Compact and the price is right. Yep, five stars.

This is much sturdier than it looks. I love it for drying small throw-rugs that I don't want to dry in the dryer. It takes up a pretty small space. I set it next to (or on) the floor heat register, and things dry very quickly .Easy to set up and close down. I also bought one for my son because he wanted to take it camping to dry swim suits and other clothing that might get wet. He is a very Happy Camper!

I had a shorter version of one of these that lasted me years. It finally broke and I had to re-new. This is much taller than I expected and it comes in two halves due to its height. If you ever need to move it out of the way when fully open and loaded it tends to come apart at the join, due to the design of the join. Otherwise it does not come apart easily. You will need coat hangers with metal hooks to be able to use the wholes on the arms of the tripod. Traditional plastic coat hangers will not fit through. The only benefit I can see from the height of this unit is if you want to hang dresses. If you don't need to hang dresses go for a shorter version as you will get the same quantity of hanging space on the arms as the tall version and storage of the closed, smaller unit will be easier. I like it and would buy again. Just wish the join was a bit more secure, otherwise all good.

I purchased my first one because I was looking for a standing unit on which I could steam my clothes. Once I received it I immediately began to also use it for hanging clothes to dry. My folding rack was only functional for small items. I was hanging shirts and pants from door frames. I then ordered a second one, so I could hang more laundry. And now I just received my 3rd one, so I have a free one to use for steaming. The price point around $20 is reasonable. I consider it a reasonable price for the materials of its construction compared to other products. It is light weight, easily assembled, stable, and then 2 pieces fold and fit back in its box for easy, compact storage. (I cut off 3 sides of box top, taped foam piece to lid for easy removal from box when using) It should hold up well if not overloaded with too much weight or an unbalanced weight load. Depending on weight I've put up to 6 items per bar. It leaves enough room for air flow. Perfect for outdoor drying on a small patio.

Tardó mucho en llegar, llego roto, sucio... No sé si sea aduana que se encastgaron de manosrarlo y romperlo o ya lo hayan mandado asi. Pero esta horrible. No esta bien hecho el mecanismo.

Es el segundo que compro, te sacan de apuros y le cabe mucha ropa. Aguanta mucha ropa y ropa pesada sin caerse o irse de lado. Las patas de abajo mantienen el equilibrio. El material es muy bueno y resistente. Solo tengo un comentario desfavorable... el primero que compre me salió muy bueno, este no se que tenga en los materiales pero esta muy difícil de abrir y cerrar. Se queda atorado y batallamos muchísimo. Creo que me tocó uno defectuoso, por que el otro funciona perfecto. Fuera de eso... Lo recomiendo muchísimo! ACTUALIZACIÓN DESPUÉS DE AÑOS DE USO Tenemos 2 y los dos siguen intactos. El segundo que se batallaba para abrir ya abre bien. Sigue algo durito, menos que antes… pero nada que no podamos abrir. Los recomiendo ampliamente.

Sehr praktischer und stabiler Wäscheständer. Lässt sich leicht aufstellen und zusammenklappen. Durch die 2 Ebenen bekommt man wesentlich mehr Wäsche unter. Da der Durchmesser der Spannweite im aufgeklappten nur ca. 70cm beträgt, lässt sich der Ständer auch bei eingeschränkten Platzverhältnissen super verwenden und nimmt nicht viel Platz weg. Für meine Verhältnisse hätte der Ständer auch noch 20-30cm höher sein können, was auch längere Wäschestücke zwischen den Ebenen erlauben würde (derzeit untere Ebene zum Boden 110cm und zwischen mittlerer Ebene und oberer Ebene 70cm), aber das ist subjektiv.
