BlackButterfly Kids 'Lucy' Vintage Clarity 50's Girls Dress

My daughter wore this to a performance in which the setting was the 1950's. Everybody commented on how cute the dress was. She is 11 years old, 59" and 90lbs, I got her the 11-12 and it fit her perfectly!

I’m so glad I bought this! I got it for my daughter to match with me on Mother’s Day. It came today and I had her try it on for a second and she looks so cute and beautiful in it. The color of the dress is lovely and the material is great. It was a bit hard to unzip but I just did it very carefully so I wouldn’t damage it at all.My daughter is 6 years old. She hasn’t had a recent physical, but I’d estimate she’s about 44/45 inches tall and I estimate she’s around 45 pounds or so, definitely under 50 pounds. She’s long and thin. I got her the size 5/6 and it’s a perfect fit. Great length and not tight anywhere. She said it felt very comfortable.

My 8 year old daughter wore this for a 50's dance at school. I bought the 9-10 rather than the 7-8 because she is on the taller side for her age. She is built like a string bean (tall and skinny) and the 9-10 fit her well. There was room in the waist and it was not tight fitting to her body but it didn't look too big. She LOVED it, and was smiling ear to ear the whole night. I would buy this over and over again.

Very cute dress, but the cream color isn't quite as elegant as I hoped. We needed something that fit a 50's/60's vibe for a semi formal event. Fit was snug. Daughter wears a size 7/8 (loose) in most cuts and styles, but the 7/8 on this was an EXACT fit. This was fine since the event was the same week, but I'd be wary if you buy too far in advance. Quality seemed average, but we haven't put it through much wash and wear.It did double as her Rosa Parks speech outfit as well.

The cost of the dress was a little high which led me to believe it was a nice dress. It was not as nice as I had first thought. It had a 3 to 4 inch hole in the side and the belt was completely missing. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I've asked repeatedly to return it and have been given no answer or return phone call.

I purchased this dress for my daughters 5th grade wax museum costume of Ruby Bridges. This dress is very well made and worth the money. My daughter received many compliments. She loves it so much she wears it regularly. The sizing was spot on.

Such a beautiful, classy, good quality dress! The sizing guide is very trustworthy, and I found it extremely helpful since my daughter can go between two sizes. I’ve never seen anything like this in stores, and the price is very reasonable considering the high quality of the material. The dress hangs beautifully, the belt has enough holes for my slender daughter, and it’s very easy to put on as well. We love it!

I bought this dress for my 8 years old daughter, I choose a size bigger 9-10 because she is tall. Dress fit perfect. She loves this dress. Beautiful deep red cherry colour. I would recommend.

Perfect for our Alice in Wonderland. Good value for money just a bit of a nightmare to iron!!! Looked good on the stage.

Absolutely beautiful little dress. Sizing I found very generous as my daughter is 10 but off measurements I ordered 7-8 which is still very long, but it’s so pretty I’m keeping it for her to grow into. Lovely fabric with a full swing.

Beautiful dress for my daughter, her usual size fits perfect, she’s 5-6 years in clothes and that’s what I got. My daughter is 112cm and it sits in her knees. Fast delivery and good service

Bought this in age 9-10 for my 10 year old daughter to wear to a vintage festival. Fits her perfectly but she is a little small for her age. Fantastic quality and a beautiful fit and suchbdoft and comfortable fabric. My daughter is thrilled with it!

Good quality dress used for a dance festival and came 1st for Veruca Salt.

Arrived on time and it is a beautiful dress, although for it to look as on the picture you probably need to have a starched underneath skirt or something similar.

My daughter was the one who chose this dress and she was so happy when it got here cuz it was even better looking than the pics.

It came up a tad small (baring in mind I had sized up for my 6yr old) and the buttons both fell off as it was taken out of the packaging. The dress it self is very pretty, but will hitch easy.

Absolutely beautiful dress! Got the next size up as people recommended so is a little too big for her, but still looks good. Bit pricey but seems like good material and will hopefully last.
