I got it as a step stool as it fits around the base of the toilet and it lights the floor up for those getting up in the night to be excused. The light is bright and you do not have to bother with a light switch and it blinding you in the night.

Your middle of the night pee trips will never be the same again. The few dollars more is totally worth the improvement to the fatigued stumble through the dark to find the toilet. No more will you stub your toe on that one wall corner! No more will you have to squint against the harsh bathroom lights! Salvation is here, and she is PINK! (Or whatever color you set it to. The blue is quite nice and soothing. The red is creepy, but tis the Halloween season.)My only complaints: that there isn't a purple light. Also, the product stickers have way more adhesive than anyone has ever needed and are so difficult to peel off. You will need half an hour with Goo Gone to remove them.All in all, perfect item. Another great product from squatty potty. The light can be changed to a variety of different colors and the motion sensor works every time. The light isn’t on very long so I’ve you’re taking a while doing your business you have to wave your foot in front of the sensor. I’ve never had more fun in the bathroom. 💩🚽

The "but" is, why would you put the stickers on the front legs? One side of the stickers came off fine, no residue but the sticker over the light and on the other leg did not. I have tried soaking it in hot water, magic eraser, nothing works so now there is sticky residue on the legs. I imagine I will have to find some kind of decorative stickers to cover the mess. Other than that it seems great. Works like advertised. The night light is fun, you can adjust the color easily and it allows some light no mater what kind of toileting you need to do in the middle of the night. As far as the people complaining that it broke when they stood on it........... WHY? why would you stand on it? It isn't a step stool. It's just a light plastic, works well for what it was intended, propping your feet while pooping. :D

We were already a squatter potty believer family so when this option became available I knew it would be perfect for our one bathroom with no outlets in the toilet area. The light is bright but low so it’s enough light to avoid the overhead light at night but not blinding. LOVE it! Has killed two birds with one stone for us

I enjoy the night light it has. Makes it easy to find in the dark and saves on electricity. Tucks under toilet easy to save space.

Definitely making having a bowel movement a little smoooother. It's sturdy and it has a nice motion light. The light is way too easily triggered tho and runs through batteries. I face it to the wall when not in use during the daylight hours

I loved this stool. Until the light started acting erratically. customer service was excellent. They sent me a replacement. Alas the replacement started erratic behavior immediately. Very disappointed.

The nightlight feature allows me to make my way to the bathroom at night without a nightlight. It only comes on if it’s dark and it senses me coming. If I have to turn on a light, I can’t get back to sleep. So this is perfect. You can choose what colour you want it to shine.

I’d give 5 stars for the Squatty Potty itself. It’s great!! Only took one star off because the LED light is kind of gimmicky. The battery needed to be replaced after barely 1 month. So I just won’t be using the light - batteries are too expensive and not worth it.
