Bee-Shrimp Mineral GH+ has especially been developed for the keeping and breeding of bee shrimp, bumblebee shrimp and tiger shrimp in an aquarium, to mineralise RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc. It raises the total hardness (GH) without significantly influencing the carbonate hardness (KH). This is especially important for shrimp originating from softwater habitats (ratio of KH/GH: 0.06/1.0). Bee-Shrimp Mineral GH+ contains all the important minerals and trace elements your shrimp need for their well-being, an intensive colouration, successful breeding and healthy growth. It also furthers plant growth and regeneration of biological filter substrates. Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ does not influence the pH directly.

Best remineralizer I've used
Having used multiple products to maintain 20 shrimp tanks. This is the most cost effective and consistent product I've found. I had been looking for a better option & I've decided to give up the search. And stick with what I know works.

Shrimp seem to do better with this
I purchased this when we first got our shrimp. They were thriving, and then I ran out and never got around to buying a new bottle. Then I noticed I started seeing my shrimp less and promptly purchased another bottle. The shrimp are doing better now, so I'll keep adding a spoonful to our 55-gallon tank once per week.

Hope this helps
a gh of 5 in ro/di water came out to 68ppm after mixing SS start there not at 120 or higher. Dont believe that you need a tds over a 100 to get breeding. My tds in Crystal red tank is 68 and in my cherry tank is 98 using this one not the KH one. Only top off with plain ro/di water dont keep dosing for either one. Now if your going to sell try raising the shrimp in higher tds to help make it easier on noobs. and if you do water change wait more than 8 days in between each one in theory you only water change if your nitrates are over 12 ppm shrimp are sensitive even to that. Remember ozarka spring water has a kh of 2 to 3 and a gh of 4 so for cherry tds water to 98 and use spring water that way you dont have to buy kh salty shrimp. this is because the starting tds of ozarka before additives is around 34 ppm. the only way to get good kh is with spring water then add gh + to make it harder. Anything over 8 or 9 is like a cichlid type fish which are very hardy and tough like invasive species and like 12 or higher GH. But SS can be used for all fish that need a gh increase from water that is lower stock out the tap or bottle from store. also if you use ro/di water your ph will eventually hit 5.5 to 5.8 and that's life. in my plecco tank I tds SS to a little past 110 to keep pleccos Cory's and twiggy cats with Ottos happy using spring water. if you water change like a pro you can keep your tds really close to what your water change tds is. so in my crs I get to about 78 tds from nitrates then I water change to bring it back to 68. If your tds is sky rocketing in 4 days or less you have nitrates over 10 ppm or something is leeching like rocks in your tanks so be warned. For shrimp a exact gh paired with a low tds and no more than 3 kh is just plain perfect. This is what no one will tell you but they will sell you shrimp that will die from no knowledge. Another thing crystal red shrimp love gh of 5 it has made all mine molt more than twice a month. More Molts = more chances for mating to occur if chitin get high enough in water shrimp start a breeding freanzy.

Very strong!
Only a tiny bit of this powder is needed to mineralize your aquarium to adequate levels for keeping crystal reds or Neocaridina. It works VERY well. I had 8 crystal reds in my 10-gallon, and it took all but 2 of them dying off over the course of several weeks for me to realize it was my extremely soft tap water that was the problem. I mineralized the water with this stuff and the two shrimp I had left managed to repopulate the tank in the last 2 months... now I have over 20 shrimp in there. Good stuff!!!
