Great for removing wallpaper and general cleaning!
These sponges are just right for cleaning larger surfaces. They absorb a lot of water and suds up easily, and they are substantial in the hand. I use them for removing wallpaper. No chemicals, no steam. Just a bucket of warm water with a little dish soap, lightly score the wallpaper in a diamond pattern (I use a box cutter and don’t press enough to damage walls!), and keep wetting the areas as you work. I did two rooms with one of these sponges and it shows virtually no wear. Stays soft too!

Sponge is fine
I thought it would be a bit longer, but it works fine. Material seems to be durable and it worked well when I cleaned two cars.

Best sponge I've found
Best sponge I've been able to find. Holds much more liquid than cheaper poly-foam sponges. Good big-job sponge.

Too small
I wanted a grout sponge like the ones they sell at Lowes. This one is just like that, only 2/3 the size.

Perfect size
I’m a 5’4 female and this is the perfect size for my hands. Not too big!

Good for pre-paint prep
I bought these to use for washing down walls before painting. We found them to be sturdy and easy to rinse/dry. I can see where they might be too large for someone with really small hands, but they were comfortable enough for our needs. There was no tearing or shedding, however they may perform differently on textured walls. We ended up not needing all of them (I expected them to shred) so use the ones we didn't need for the paint job to wash the car. As someone pointed out, they will leave the surface wet due to the fine grain on the sponge material, but that's not unexpected...and what towels are for.
