Plantronics AMPLIFIER MODIFIER FOR H-SERIES ( T10H )

Coupled with  Plantronics HW261N Binaural Headset  this base provides excellent call quality that is perfect for 'work at home' professionals expecting to dedicate a significant part of their day to receiving telephone calls.The base is comfortably angled for keying telephone numbers. A large red LED across the top of the base indicates an active call, while a second LED is located around the mute button for that function. The On/Off button is large making it easy to target and press. Adjustments include Tone/Pulse dialing, Ringer on/off, incoming volume, tone control and a customization flash. There are redial and flash buttons in addition to the standard keypad.The base appears identical to  Plantronics T10 Corded Headset Phone  which includes a headset but does not support or include any noise cancelling. The T10H base does not include a headset but supports Plantronics H-Series headsets which include noise cancelling versions. Noise Cancelling provides a dramatic improvement to voice quality over telephone which should be the choice of any serious professional.

This is an industry standard base. However if you are hard of hearing you may find the sound quality and volume to be lacking. Just be aware of this limitation

I ordered this unit in March of 2013, Since then, I have had 4 replacements. The phone will turn off, then on and then the only way to turn off is to unplug it. The last replacement was 3 days after I received the previous replacement. I didn't even have time to return the 3rd claim before the 4th unit did the same thing.Love the ease of use but product is overall faulty.
