I have an old furnace that needs an odd size filter. These are easy to cut & work great.

These filters are great. You can wash and dry them by hand. When the are dry you can use them again. If the filter is too big you can trim them to fit.

Buying bulk is cheaper, as Walmart charges double per filter.Same product, same results.Will be buying again

These are the only filters that will fit on our furnace. We have the return vent in the hallway. My old furnace had a slot for pre cut filters. The new one doesn't. These are also recommended by our allergist. We were already using them prior to her telling us to use these. The thing is that only two places in my local area carry these. You guessed it - Walmart and Lowes. I hate going to Walmart - especially for just one thing. I am never at Lowes anymore. I keep checking Amazon to see if they have these at the same price for each one. Finally - they do! So the filters come in a fancy box where you cut the box in the front so you can just grab the filter right out! Nice! You can cut these filters with regular scissors. I have found that making a template for the filter is the best way to cut the filter. That way it always fits. I cut it out of cardboard and keep it. When the filter needs to be replaced, I just cut a new one using the template. Then you don't have to get up and down from the ladder. We just hand it to the person on the ladder and it is safer and easier. I know it says you can wash and re -use these. I have never done that and I won't ever do that. We replace these every 3 - 4 months. Sometimes, there is only just a few specs of dust. Sometimes it is awfully full of dust. My heating and cooling guy says to replace it every four months no matter what. We have done that since we have lived here. Now I have over a years worth of filters. So easy!

Good product as described

I have a old furnace and it is getting harder to find furnace filters that I can cut to fit the openings. These worked great!
