Great holster, I was worried it would be garbage considering the price
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and comfortable to wear this was for the price considering most others like this are listed at 3 times as much. Holds the Glock 42 perfectly, very easy to adjust with just a simple phillips screw driver to get the tension holding the gun in just the way you like it. You can’t adjust the tilt of the position, but its already in the exact position I would have adjusted it to anyhow. I was easily able to adjust the tension holding the gun in so it was the perfect balance of easy removal without falling out and doesn’t pull out of your pants on draw even without wearing a belt. We also have an Urban Carry leather IWB we paid $80 for that pulls out of your pants when you draw and adjusting the tension on seems to always get it too loose or too tight but never just right like this one. My wife and I both prefer wearing this one over the $80 one we have.

Best OWB holster I have...
I typically only use OWB holsters in the winter months but with the world the way it is today I think I need something more than a pocket gun. Carry my G42 all the time now and IWB just isn't comfortable. This holster holds it close to your body as long as you have a good heavy belt. Wear a loose shirt outside the pants and nobody knows.

An excellent light-duty holster for the Glock 42.
It is exactly what it is supposed to be… the picture and description are accurate. The Fobus GL42ND is a lightweight, compact paddle holster that slips onto my waistband easily, doesn't come off when I draw the pistol, yet can be removed from my waistband without a struggle. I appreciate being able to quickly put it on and take it off. There are, however, trade-offs for this convenience.Although the Fobus has a lower profile than many other paddle holsters, the G42 doesn't sit as close to my body as it does in my hybrid, dual-clip, IWB holster (a DeSantis Intruder), when worn behind the hip (4 o'clock position). With about a half-inch difference in projection, the cover garment becomes much more important for effective concealment, and concealability is my only reason for carrying a diminutive, small-caliber firearm. Depending upon your anatomy, this may not be as much of an issue, but for me a pistol in a paddle holster doesn't hide very well under just a tee shirt. So, in summertime, if I don't want to be sweating on my IWB rig, I'll pocket-carry the G42 in a Desantis Nemesis. The pistol retention adjustment on the Fobus is a really nice feature, and a great bonus for such an inexpensive holster. Only time will tell how durable the holster will be in a light-duty, civilian application. It certainly does a good enough job for me, and for the price, I couldn't ask for more.

Easy to holster and
Holsters as advertised. It has met my expectations very well. Easy to holster and, more importantly, unholster my Glock 42. The retention of the gun is adjustable in this model, which is the Evolution series. The cant is not adjustable, but I was aware of this before purchase, so this is a nonissue. The holster stays put, but is easy to remove. It is best used with clothes that have a structured waistband and/or a belt, but does work well with my jeans without a belt. It is comfortable and holds the gun reasonable close to the body. The trigger is completely covered as is the magazine release button. The gun grip is easily accessible. You must draw the gun straight up with snap or the holster may come out with it, but that is pretty much the same with all holsters of this type. The holster arrived at my door within the promised time frame. The packaging was adequate, but not over done, which was nice. I mostly purchased this holster type to use while backpacking and during the colder months.

great but a few things to consider
so it arrived on time, it is exactly as shown and as described... i'll go over some pros and cons,Pros: price is great, slim, paddle has a nice large hook to grab under your belt, has a draw tension screw for your preferred draw/grip tension, thick molding on the holster so it doesn't bentCons: the paddle and holster are riveted together and are not adjustable to your preferred carry angle, the three holes on the holster are i guess for style but in my opinion are kinda dumb looking and prefer a one piece, the large brand sticker decal needs to gosummary: for the price i love it, it could use a few refinements like an adjustable/removable/replaceable paddle, overall I am happy and would recommend this holster

useful, small drawback
I purchased this for my Glock 42. This is my second holster for this pistol. My first holster was a blackhawk that I wrote a review on also. The only 2 concerns I have is the screw that keeps it tight tends to be a little loose and makes me worried that it might fall out after a few months of wearing it. However, I did you some liquid adhesive to keep the screw in place after I set the holster up to my weapon. 2nd The paddle that goes inside your waistband would be more effective if it had another notch coming out into the waistband rather then the single ledge that it has. Other than that it's been comfortable and I use it for my daily holster.
