Nice tool to have on-hand
I’m quite impressed with the performance level of this impact wrench. Before purchasing this, I used an 18” cross-bar lug wrench and it was extremely difficult to get the nuts off most of the time. There would always be one or two nuts that felt like they were welded. This wrench is very easy to use and is rated at 300 ft. lbs of torque which will be enough to get off most overtightened car lug nuts. The torque spec for the lug nuts on my compact car is 100 ft. lbs. You just plug it into your car’s 12V outlet; place the proper socket on the shaft (17/19mm or 21/23mm); set the switch to reverse; and squeeze the trigger. The mechanism inside will spin up to about 4800 RPM, and then engage some type of clutch system that transfers the spinning force to the drive shaft in the form a sudden impact. For my car, one or two impacts was enough to loosen a nut. When using the wrench do not push in (or lean in) on the nut as doing this can/will lessen the strength of the impact. It’s too early to tell how long this unit will last but it does feel like it’s well made. Even though it’s rated at 300 ft. lbs. of torque, the directions say it is only supposed to be used on small and mid-size cars. It’s definitely not designed or intended to be used in a commercial environment. It’s a nice unit to keep in the trunk for occasional use. The unit has an LED light that is useful at night time and comes in a nice sturdy plastic case.

Works good
Works ok taking lugs off my Mercedes gle coupe, needs to spool up before it engages to deliver the force needed to move the lugs. But works well, better than having to step on the lug wrench to loosen the lugs.

Learn how to use it! Removed over torqued lugs on highlander.
the best way to use this tool is to wait for it to get up to speed.it may take 4 or more "hits" to start to loosen the nut.my old tool (same type was 12 bucks on clearance at store) lasted me over 10 years.this one is way more seriously built. I think it will be the last one I buy.car places do not typically set lugs to proper torque. I don't want to argue about rotors, bearing damage, stretched bolts, treads on lugs etc. for me, it's just so I can get the wheel off at 3am when I'm in the middle of nowwheres.it's happened, and in the cold rain sitting for hours for AAA is not for me.if proper torque in first place you can most likely just remove lugs with standard tools that came with car.I would never suggest using this tool to put lugs ON the car, just initially loosen the nut.use a good torque wrench - always! Secure your person and property - always!

Don't waste your time
it doesn't come with powerful and it can't loose the nut from the first use. You will get trobule if you really need help for rescue.

It is not perfect tool. Pay more and get a better tool
It is ok. Not professional!I prefer to use a good one now. If you pay a little bit more, you can get a good quality tool.

Great product. Great for roadside changings.
l was actually quite surprised at how good this thing worked. Bought to make a DYI brake job easier, and it did not disappoint. I has some really tight lug nuts and this wrench made short work of them. Now, just know that this does not operate just like an impact wrench you would see in a mechanics garage. you will not get the quick bang, bang, bang that you will hear with a more professional one. But as it spins it will hammer away loosening even the tightest nut. It is made really well with a plastic and metal body. and it does have a little weight to it. The cord is very long allowing you to reach all of the wheels. I used mine on a Chrysler 300. the les light are handy and will be even handier if changing anflat on a dark road. it come in a pretty decent clamshell case with 2 - 2 size lug sockets which appear to be of very good quality. Overall, I highly reccomend for lighter jobs, or even to keep in the trunk incase of emergencies.

works on my pickup
I checked it out on a lug nut on my old pickup truck and it worked. I bought this cause I got in a situation at my local dump where I shredded a trailer tire and could not get the lug nuts off as too tight. I had spare and lug wrench but AAA could not come out cause trailer not covered under my coverage and private tow operator wanted $125 to change tire. This option is great cause it works off 12v battery and has the power to remove the nuts even if tire is off the wheel. Fortunately guys at the dump helped me get the tire changed.

Average Quality
Tried this to change tires on my truck. I loosened the lug nuts with a breaker bar before I started. This tool seems to have some type of lag when it hammers the lug nuts off but once they are loose they seem to come off well. Going back on, it will spin the lug nut all the way on and somewhat hammer the nut tight but again it seems like there's some type of lag in the hammer mechanism. This tool will work but I'm not confident that it will hammer completely tight.
