The older I get the less I care about being tan and the more I want my skin protected. We are going snorkeling in Mexico next month and need reef-safe sunblock, which I just don't trust entirely. I purchased this rash guard as a jacket I can put on over my swimsuit while snorkeling that will keep the sun off of my back and shoulders and not give me any tan lines. I am a size 18, 38D chest, and the 2X fit extremely well, with the exception of the sleeves being REALLY long. I am 5'5" so my arms are kinda short, but this is almost comical. It's not a big deal - I can roll or push them up, or I may even hem them myself. The overall fit is perfect, though. Not squeezing me like a sausage in a casing, but not baggy either. The small areas of pattern help give you a little complementary shape too. It seems to be very durable material - thicker than cheap swimsuits. My biggest concern was having the black zipper against my skin, but on the underside there is a flap so it never touches your skin. I'm really looking forward to NOT being burned in the Caribbean from now on!

The bought an XL because I didn't want it to be painted on. I'm normally an M and the XL fits with little wiggle room. It's perfect but FYI if you don't like them super tight. My only other concern is that the description says UPF 50+ but there is zero evidence of it actually being UPF 50+. No external or internal tags outlining this.

As for this top the feel is good. Good quality. I got a large and it fits perfect (aside from a tiny muffin top I'm working on. Great for sun protection, biking in the rain, when you dont want to wear a swim suit swimming. Much better feel than a similar one I got elsewhere that I'm going to return. I'm 5'6" tall, 185lbs, curvy and have 38DDD chest and it fits my chest perfect (doesnt crush it in) Perfect length . highly recommended.

It fits as I expected - because I read some of the other reviews. It fits semi-snug, not loose. Although I would prefer one that was a bit looser for how I'd use it. I bought it for the sun protection...so looks are secondary. Although if you're more in shape than I or actually using it to dive, you may actually love the fit. Would recommend for others - as it is good quality and looks great.

The fit is almost perfect. Arms could have been 1 inch longer. I use to use a big t-shirt because I can not lift over my head. That was such a pain. Always feeling like it was stuck to my body and you wanted to pull on it. This being a long sleeve I thought I would have to cut the sleeves off but it fits so comfortable it is like you are not wearing anything. Snug without fitting tight. I gave it a 4star because I only wore it once. I frequent the pool and hot tub on average 2 times a month. So if this last me a year or longer I will give it a 5 star and order it again. I want to see how well it holds up to chlorine and see how long it will maintain its' wonderful fit.
