2014 remastered first time on CD reissue. MCB are Aaron Mills & Jeryl Bright who were also members of the group Cameo, and had collaborated in the past with music heavyweights of Ramsey Lewis, Donald Byrd and Kevin Toney. This release became MCB's only album which was recorded on Epic Records in 1983, and they were joined by Belinda Woods (from the group Brainstorm) on vocals and Phoenix Horns (Don Myrick on sax, Rhamlee Davis on trumpet, Louis Satterfield on trombone and Mike Harris on trumpet). The album shows how MCB gave each musician the space to find their way, whilst locking in the funk all at the same time.

Just a Thrill
As a funk addict I am so grateful to have rediscovered this reissue from 1983.Quality fresh, crisp productions abound on this Cameo affiliated groups one off album for Epic Records. As a fan of Cameo I have collected as much music by them and associated artists as I can find, however this album was proving rather elusive until I stumbled upon a copy on amazon. It's certainly more than just a Cameo completists set with tracks like 'I'm The One, You're The One', 'Time Is Right', 'Do It Up', 'Bring It Back' and 'Feels So Right' really hitting the spot.Aaron, Jeryl and 'TC' produced a fine album here with features from the Phoenix Horns, Wayne Kee and Belita Woods.Special thanks to Funky Town Grooves for the reissue.

Funky
Un bon album pour trois des musiciens originaux du mythique groupe cameo.Subtile car different, mais moins puissant. Du bon funk quand même
