Roof Window Blackout Blind compatible with VELUX MK04, M04, Polyester 304, 1, White

The blind arrived and after fixing to the window it was noticed that the material was unevenly fixed within the framework.This made the material wrinkle up and would not pull up and down smooothly.I complained and was told to send photos.My husband then managed to adjust the material so that it moved smoothly, though far from perfect. We needed the blind and so, as it was attached to the window at that point, we decided not to return.The company need to check their products before sending out. A, blind, once unpacked and screwed onto the frame is not the easiest item to return.You cannot see the material would not pull down before affixing it.Disappointed, have informed them. Would not recommend.

It’s a very well made item, which I can see lasting for years.The only down side is the fitting. The pictorial instructions aren’t very clear. If you are of those who struggle to assemble flat pack furniture ( I have to say I find IKEA stuff very straightforward but some apparently don’t ) you would soon be wanting to throw this through your new velux window. I went on line and eventually found a helpful video tutorial.But persevere and try not to swear too much ( I think the Archbishop of Canterbury would swear a little trying to install this ) and you will be rewarded. It’s a fantastic bit of kit and at a very good price.

Absolutely loved these blinds. I can understand from some people the instructions are slightly awkward but there is a big black arrow at the bottom to skip the first couple of instructions for the velux. Only thing I found is make sure you slot the blind in the side rails when screwing them up. Not 100% black out at the bottom but 99% is pretty good. More than happy for the money.

After extensively searching for the right blind, (i have an old window), I placed the order. Slight issue with the delivery, (saying they attempted delivery but didn't), but eventually received it. The instructions are poor. They are not easy to understand (just pictures) and not comprehensive.However, having deciphered what I was meant to do, fitting was actually quite easy. Fit and function are good and quality is pretty good value for money.

Good product - loses one star as once you have selected the size, it does not seem to show in the order confirmation so there is no way to check or confirm the size ordered, although the delivery was correct.The misprinted instructions are near impossible to understand for Velux, better are on the Itzala web site, but still not clear, in the end common sense prevailed, but it would be good to make this clearer.Right "R" screw hole on GGL304/MK04 was too near the original Velux blind holes, but resolved by putting in a 45 degree hole, but could be better placed.

I had to email the company as the pictorial instructions aren’t too clear as to which side extensions you need to use. However, the company were excellent communicators and the hiccup very quickly sorted. Cheaper than an original Velux blind but is just as good quality and looks great.

Easy to fit, however I did not like the two piece side guides. One single length would be better because the join shows and the aluminium is a different colour.My blind has a pin hole in it which shows in the morning sunlight.However I would buy again as a low cost option to velux blinds.

Arrived ahead of predicted date. This blind does exactly what it predicts, excellent blackout blind, up and down mechanism smooth and slides well without snagging. Exact fit. Looks so neat and tidy. Easy to put up and instructions easy to use took about 20mins tops. I have used this company before, hence good service polite, helpful and really good quality products. I would wholly recommend this company as a returning customer.Unfortunately I couldnt download my photos of my lovely new blind.
