The sound quality is ok. However, the music teacher had to replace the string because it was defected. We thought it would be a good replacement because my son has a Cremona 3/4. My son explained that it keeps slipping out of tune. We'll just have to see. Good for a beginner though. Just have a professional check it out and set up the bridge correctly.

My 10 year old uses this violin and its awesome for learning, have to complaints.....enjoy!!!!!!!!!!
