Love these books. Got them for a student at school and he loves reading them. He even asked for more .

My son loves these books, especially this topic. These books keep him interested and he wants to keep reading and pick different choices. I personally think some of the choices/endings are silly but he enjoys them and that's all that matters to me!

This book is a great introduction to choose your own story books. My grandson was excited to choose which way the story would go. I'm going to buy a few more for him to enjoy. He is 6 and loves to read aloud to us and directing which way we go.

I agree with the previous reviewers that this book needs to be properly edited and re-issued. Looking for the monster across the "lack" instead of lake is unacceptable.However, if you can correct the errors in your head as you read it aloud to small children, this book is delightful. My 4 and 6-year-old love choose-your-own adventure books, but most of the classic ones are too long, have scary themes, and some encourage immoral behavior such as cheating and stealing. All the story paths in this book are short and sweet. It takes between 5 and 10 minutes to read one of 8 possible stories.The storylines of this book were perfect because the "bad" endings weren't too sad or scary. The worst that happens is you don't find the friendly monster.We are buying this book because it officially spends more time in our living room than it does on the shelves of the public library.

How excited was I to find this choose your own way book!!! The store is fun and the illustrations are beautiful and engaging. The quality of the pages and cover is great and thank goodness because you can re read and enjoy it many times.

I read choose your own adventure books all the time as a child and wanted to get my grand-daughter started. The story is cute. It is a very quick read out loud. She was able to choose options and excited to have a new story each night. I'm sure she'll be able to read on her own soon enough.

I love lake monsters and have a huge soft spot for Champ. This was a fun little adventure book.Kids will lovee this!

Choose your own way the story progresses in so much fun --- my grandsons like this book!

these books are woeth every penny my Grandaughter Annabelle loves finding out our to get out of the adventure brillint . Good price i have told family and friends about them
