Mr. Gasket 6323 Inferno Shield Heat Reflective Tape

I've got an older car that the AC box had developed some holes in. This was causing the AC not to blow inside of the car when you wanted it, and causing the car to heat up very easily when you didn't want it to. I used this to line the exterior of the AC box in the engine bay. It sealed up the holes, and conformed to the uneven surfaces of the AC box very easily. It also has lowered the temp of the interior of the car considerably by reflecting the heat off the headers (that are about 2" away from the AC box). It cuts easily with normal scissors, and the amount provided was more than ample to cover the area I needed. I will be getting more for insulation on other areas of the car.

The adhesive on this tape is not the greatest. I used this on the inside of a plastic inner fender liner that's about half and inch from a turbo exhaust housing. It does the job and keeps the plastic liner from melting. When I installed I got it all to stick firmly and contour to the shape of the fender liner, but it had come up in several places so far. Would probably work a lot better on a flatter surface.

I used this under my saddle bags on my motorcycle. It helps keep exhaust heat from the bags. It works very well.Note....clean surface with alcohol for best results.

Use them under the fire place mantel to protect the tv from heat. Works really well. Lowered the temperature by more than 20%

This tap is awesome. You would be afraid it wouldn't stick well, but it does. Easy to use and super strong.

Not very sticky.
