Primer works great. Dries super quick leaving behind not additional texture. Applied easily even in low temperatures. Nice and durable layer, but pretty pricy. Pure white and durable rub off even with very thin layers.

Awesome primer, workers every bit as well as advertised. Dries fast and does a great job of filling in layer lines on printed minis. Only complaint is whatever propellant they're using in this is very, very strong. Even priming outdoors I ended up putting a mask on because the smell was so strong. I'd be hesitant to use this indoors at all.

This is a superb black primer. It's not flat black it's the best it shows light and shadow and it is ultra forming when spraying on Minni's

I’m already on my second can of this primer, which says a lot. I’m a toy customizer and regularly use it to prime resin-printed head sculpts, and it works extremely well. Coverage is excellent, goes on smoothly, and creates a really solid base for painting. It grips nicely to resin and helps paint lay down evenly without fighting the surface. I usually prefer black primer because I like how colors look over it, especially when building depth in darker tones. If I’m working with lighter colors, I’ll switch to white or grey primer instead, but this black has become one of my go-to options. My only downside is the price. It does feel a bit expensive for primer, but the performance and reliability have kept me coming back for another can. If you’re painting miniatures, models, or resin prints, this is a dependable option that gets the job done.

*Review Photos are of models sprayed with black primer first then the white primer from above* As a miniature and display painter, I've always preferred Vallejo's black primer for my models. It settles well and nice and even as it dries and doesn't cover up the fine details that I try to get my printer to print out. So when I saw the rattle can version, I thought that it would be a great alternative to having to clean out my airbrush constantly and that it would help get good coverage with my larger prints. I was right. It worked fantastically for covering my larger prints faster while still being able to help on smaller busts that I've been neglecting. I love this product so far. I've already run out and need to order another can. Also, I ended up ordering a can of the white primer too. Like a lot of painters, I like to do a zenithal highlight (highlight from above to simulate light), but the airbrush version always dries closer to a grey than a white. That is unless I let it dry and go back in for a few more passes. That said, the white really shines in this area. I got some nice and bright white highlights with it and have been incredibly pleased with both cans. I recommend it a lot, but make sure to shake it very well even between sprays. And as always, spray in a well ventilated area or outside.

Great product. I like the two nozzles that are included, a low and high volume tip. I prefer the low volume spray for better control.

DO NOT BUY. When I pressed the nozzle paint bled out from under the nozzle coating the outside of the can, and my hand. There were large drips dropping down on the figurine I was spraying. To make matters worse, when I shook it again I got paint splatter on the side of my house (I was working outdoors due to fumes). I've never had an experience like this using spray cans. The entire can was coated as the paint seeped out from under the nozzle, on all sides. On the plus side, it aggressively adhered to my model, my hands and my house. I still have paint on my fingers and fingernails that no amount of scrubbing will remove. Does anyone know how to get this primer off of vinyl siding?

Bonjour J'ai acheté cette peinture d'apprêt sur les bonnes recommandations d'un ami Wargammer pour une figurine en PLA (impression 3D) Aucun souci d'adhérence ou de fonte du produit. La quantité de la bombe est généreuse et me permettra de faire beaucoup de figurine. Elle est livrée avec deux buses permettant un travail soit fin soit de remplissage pour les grandes surfaces ce qui permet un gain de temps ou de finesse, selon le travail souhaité. Le résultat est au rendez vous et offre deux avantages. Le premier et de remplir ou masquer les toutes petites imperfections et le deuxième est le contraire, les grosses imperfections de ponçage vous sauteront à la figure (voir vidéo et photo) vous permettant de reprendre la finition éventuellement. Préférez plusieurs passes pour une meilleure finition et éviter les coulures qui masqueraient les détails. Bien que pas nocif il est préférable de travailler en extérieur avec gants et masque et de penser à purger la bombe tête en bas deux secondes pour éviter qu'elle ne se bouche. Excellent rapport qualité prix. En espérant que ce commentaire vous aide dans votre choix. Bonne journée

Does a good job and does what it needs to do. Keep in mind like any spray paint in a can use in a well vented area.
