Whenever I order a corset online, it's usually for a costume or event where I only plan on wearing the item once, therefore quality isn't necessarily important. I can alter the item as needed for me.However, this corset surprised me. It's a well made, high quality product that fits me perfectly. My only issue is the laces. They're satin laces, and they're kind of short. I'll be replacing those with something longer and more sturdy.For reference, I'm 5'9" and 190lbs. with evenly distributed body weight. My natural waist is 34 inches. I ordered the size 2XL.

Figuring out the sizing of clothing manufactured in China is not straightforward. After reading several reviewer's advice to follow the manufacturer's size chart, I ordered the corset in a size medium, intending to use it as part of a renaissance costume. As the Seller claims to offer free returns, I assumed I could exchange for a different size if needed. I received the corset 3 weeks after placing my order. The corset itself is very well constructed and, for faux leather, looks quite nice. However, the corset was way too small, and might actually fit a size 0 or 2. For reference, I am 5'7", weigh 118 lbs and usually wear a size size 4-6 in jeans, and small or medium in tops. I contacted the Seller (Blidece) to request an RMA so that I could order a larger size. Their response several days later made no sense (something to the effect they would not provide an RMA because "the project has been delivered"). I escalated to Amazon and then received another non-nonsensical response from the Seller ("solved a technical issue"), after which the Seller closed my refund request. I continued to escalate through Amazon's A-Z Guarantee Claim, and was grateful that they refunded my money. To be fair, $22 is a reasonable price for the corset, but the hassle of dealing with this Seller was beyond aggravating. I very much appreciate Amazon looking out for their customers, but would not purchase again from this Seller. If you do purchase from this seller, I'd recommend going up one or two sizes ...but don't expect the Seller to honor a return claim if the size is wrong.

I ordered based on the size chart provided. I have a 31.5 inch waist so ordered the 2XL. I just received it and had to immediately try it on. I loved everything about it. However, the sizing is just a bit off. It was a bit too big for me. I had it cinched as tight as it would go and it was still a bit loose in the waist and a bit big in the bust ( I have 34 bust). Based on the way the 2XL fit I think that the XL will fit perfectly. I don't like that it doesn't give me the option to exchange. So I have to return it and wait for refund to process and reorder it. I am definitely reordering the next size down. I really loved the way this looked on me even though it was a bit big. The right size should look even better.

Got it and followed the advice of the other reviewers—sizing runs a bit small (even with the lacing in the back) so I would err on the side of caution and go a bit. The halter was as pictured/advertised: a nice dark brown color with warm undertones and was consistently colored (it wasn't made and dyed). Mimics the look of leather well. The construction of it was good with no frayed edges. The fabric was nice and supple and soft to touch. The adjustable straps on the shoulders made it customizable for any torso/bust sizes. The fit was very comfortable and easy to move around in (the boning wasn't too stiff or restricting).

Ordered a 2x for my daughter who wears a misses 12/14 and it fits perfect cinched all the way. Good quality, very nice material.

It's a little uncomfortable to sit in because I have a short torso, but I still love it!

Sizing way off. Shoulder straps sizing way off. Had to return.
