These speakers sound great, were easy to install, and love the no-bezel design with magnetic grill attachment.

Amazing sound quality. Easy install really like the thin magnetic grill very clean install look.using Sony receiver and these speakers sound amazing on it!(I highly suggest Sony or murantz receivers) I have large open living area so I was concerned about echo effect. With the amiable woofer and tweeter sound stage is very clean.no echo. Looking for unveiling speakers? Buy klipsch! I’ve had Boston acoustics,Yamaha,Polk,and definitive technology. I always go back to klipsch.yes def techs high end stuff sounds better than these.but at 4-5 times the price no thanks. Besides have you ever heard the reference premiere from klipsch? My point is at this price you won’t get better from another brand period. I will say this for 30 dollars more you can get the 5650 cdt ll.I bought these a year ago on Amazon. After a year they still sound great. After about 2 months they got better as they broke in.very good quality for the long run. If you want a super budget in ceiling speaker buy the r 1650 c they still sound really good for 50 a piece.These are upper mid range. The 5650 series is a little better yet. For your normal home owner this series or the 5650 series is all you would ever need. And buy a klipsch subwoofer to match these as there designed to compliment each other. Happy home theater guys! We did a major remodel in 2022 and I put in four of these in the ceiling to complete a Dolby Atmos surround sound experience. Matched with Klipsch floor speakers, center channel, sub, and rear wall mounted surrounds we get fully immersive sound that delights and shocks visitors (16 feet wide by 22 feet deep room). The crazy is when watching sports it feels like you are in the stadium with the crowd noises. I am using a marantz receiver, comcast cable and a hisense smart TV (great sound output and picture, crummy interface). They fit nicely in the ceiling and the paintable screens make them very unobtrusive in to the eye. The directional tweeters are a nice upgrade - I pointed all four slightly inwards to the listening area. Easy to install, great sound reproduction - highly recommend.

I researched speakers for our surround sound for a long time, and finally decided on these. I am extremely pleased with my decision. The house we purchased was already wired for ceiling speakers, but they were never installed. The caps were also super small, so we ended up having to move all four ceiling speakers about 10" from that spot. We decided to place them ourselves using the template that came with the speakers. We have never done anything like this and the thoughts of cutting a huge hole in the ceiling was very intimidating. We bought a drywall hand saw and a stud finder and once we mapped out the four spots, they were very easy to place. They sound fantastic! It sounds like we are at the movies! I would highly recommend these speakers for sound, easy installation, and value!

Very easy installation for me, but I was replacing much older speakers of similar size. Unfortunately, the old speakers were slightly larger, so I had to use existing mounting bracket and covers rather than the nicer looking magnetic covers that are supplied. The sound quality is what really counts, and these Klipsch CDT-3650-C II's were a huge upgrade. Keep in mind that depending on location within, and type of construction of your home, the 'in ceiling' nature of these means a good section of your house becomes the 'speaker enclosure'. So the base response can get amplified and treble mellowed somewhat to give a space expander (or concert hall) effect. Depending on your taste, adjustments for this can be made w/ the tweeter in the center which is movable, and also a switch on the crossover network which is accessible from below more towards the edge of the unit . Overall, I am delighted w/ the sound quality. These medium priced speakers are very well built and sound as good or better than much higher priced units of same size.

Low profile and easy to install.

As expected, amazing. Got 4 in ceiling for surround. Match well with my Klipsch towers and center running off Denon 3800h. Clean look and I would purchase again. If I redid this I might up to the 8” version as they are also used as part of whole house audio, not just surround. But absolutely perfect as it. Movies and even general TV are best I’ve ever owned.

I like that you could adjust the direction of the speaker

I thought these speakers are good but I was so disappointed,keep on cutting off and on even at 1/3 of amp volume, I wasted eight hours installing and taking them out and returned for refund, I would not recommend.
