Metal Masters Co.Men's Titanium Ring Wedding Band, Engagement Ring with Real Wood Inlay, 8mm Comfort Fit Sizes 6 to 13

Let's get something out of the way, right off the bat. I'm a maintenance man. There's not a day that goes by that my hands aren't scrapped, scratched, cut, stabbed, covered in dirt or worse. I've buried my hands in gunk in the bottom of a fountain, lifted and thrown rocks and strained them into tight spots in engine parts. I tell you this because I never remove this ring except when I am sleeping. I've had this ring for more then a year and after all that use and abuse, I can still see the wood grain and I don't mean barely. I mean I can clearly see it all the way around. it's not cloudy or chipped and it shines back up with a simple buff against my jeans. I bought this as a representation of my experience as a finish carpenter, knowing that a solid wood ring would be destroyed in days going through the hell I put this one thru. It's incredibly light and I often forget its there besides the common twirl around the finger everyone does with their thumb. Funnily enough, it also functions quite well as a top, which I often make use of when my hands are idle, spinning it silently on any flat surface before me. I've gotten tons of complements and a few queries as to if I was married (which speaks to the visual quality I believe lol). It's been worth every penny and I see no coming day where wear and tear will require me to bench it in a drawer or trashcan. Buy with confidence that it will earn its keep and you will feel naked without it when you do.

I've had this ring for 2.5 years. I am an active person, work with my hands and I do not do anything special to care for it. It's nearly as perfect as when I got it. You can't get a better ring for $15. I would say the profile of the ring is thick, but you get used to it quick wearing it every day.We bought another ring with stones all the way around it. It's in great shape, too. Great craftsmanship. Great company.

We purchased this 8mm titanium ring (size 7.5) and it was true to size. Light weight, comfortable to wear, and seemingly well made, this ring is a great deal! The gold tones and brightness of the wood do suggest that it is authentic Koa wood. We did purchase a second ring (same size,8mm width and in titanium) for about 3x's more from a vendor in Hawaii but with 'tiger Koa' wood which has more bands showing off the shimmery gold tones.Side-by-side, you can see the difference between the tiger Koa and this Koa wood ring but I think both are beautiful. I added pictures (I used the same ring box to take a picture of each) to compare and put them side-by-side... My fiancé ultimately chose the more expensive ring (it had a lifetime warranty) but thought the other ring was also very handsome and would have been happy to keep it. (He wanted both but...we're on a budget.) I hope this review helps others when considering the options.

The ring is very lightweight and is as comfortable as a ring can be. The entire ring is covered with some sort of plastic-feeling coating to protect the wood. When you drop it onto a hard surface, it sounds like plastic, not metal due to this coating. The coating is quite durable, as I have worked on cars and camp trailers forgetting to take it off...and the ring has not dulled or scratched up as yet. But, you should remove the ring before doing hand intensive labor if you can remember. The ring looks in real life like the one pictured. All in all, I like it. I could not wear rings during my 38 year career due to hazards... but now I have retired I have to wear one to honor my 41 year marriage. If I have to wear a ring, this is a good one.

2021 update:This ring is the best! My husband has worn it every single day for 5 years without ever taking it off. This ring has lasted through my husband's very hands-on job, swimming in both chlorine and saltwater more times than we can count, sweaty midwest summers, and most recently with the pandemic, constant hand washing, hand sanitizer, coming into contact with cleaning chemicals. There are a few micro-scratches here and there, but all in all, it's still in practically new condition. I was really wary when I left my initial review, but am now very sure now that it will last forever. I'll update this again on our 50th wedding anniversary. ;)Original 2016 review: My fiancé loves it!!! It's very lightweight and fits perfectly. The only thing is that, to me, it feels cheap, but then again, it was $30. (I don't believe that it's actually marked down from $230, though.) Overall, I'm pleased with it though. Let's just hope it stands the test of time!

My now fiancé has wore this ring everyday for over 2 years, to work and all. Being a beer vendor he lifts 170lbs kegs everyday, putting pressure against the ring everyday. This ring has saved him from having a broken finger after smashing it between two kegs. He then bent it back into place with said kegs. This is the most durable ring I have ever bought in my life. After 2 years of everyday wear it has one small crack in the enamel and slightly bent from almost smashing a finger. 12/10 highly recommend this ring for anyone.

Very nice ring; not heavy in the least, it's actually very light which made me on several occasions do a quick glance to make sure it was still on my finger. It is a bit tight though; I hadn't worn a comfort fit ring in a long while so I had forgotten that they're a little more snug on fit, despite that; it fits just nicely. Also shipping was fast. Also! Now the wife can't complain that I don't wear a ring while working (because I'm not going to muck up my fancy ring). This ring is pretty dang sturdy too; more than one occasion have I 'slapped' it onto the desk/table/counter/plotter machine, and not a scratch or ding.

The unusual combination of wood and metal is what drew me to buy this ring. Very light in weight due to its being made of titanium, although I'm finding that the edges scratch easily. The inlaid koa wood (from the flowering acacia tree) has an agreeably deep sheen when the light catches it right. The ring sizing was spot on too. All in all I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Really nice ring, quite light weight so good for every day wear, my boyfriend loved it and so do I. Good if you want something a little different and the price is fantastic.

This ring is very well made and looks far more expensive than it was. Looks great on too.
