I WAS CONSTANTLY WONDERING IF I WAS BEING OVERCHARGED FOR POSTAGE (PRE-PAID PACKAGES VS. USPS) SO I DECIDED TO GET A SCALE. I CHOSE THIS ONE BECAUSE IT HAD A LARGER PLATFORM & EASY-TO-READ DISPLAY. YOU CAN WEIGH THINGS BY POUNDS, OUNCES, KILOGRAMS & MORE. YOU CAN WEIGH LETTERS, MULTIPLE SIZES OF ENVELOPES & BOXES UP TO ABOUT 15 POUNDS. IT COMES WITH A DETACHABLE PLUG (IN CASE YOU WANT TO STORE THE SCALE) NO DANGLING CORD. NO WRAPPING IT AROUND THE UNIT. THEN YOU CAN USE THE PLATFORM TO STORE THINGS ON TOP. (I STORE MY BASKET OF SHIPPING SUPPLIES) ANOTHER REASON I WANTED A SCALE WAS TO WEIGH MY HANDBAGS. JUST A TIP.....IF YOUR BAG STARTS OUT AT 3 POUNDS (EMPTY) & YOU CARRY 4 POUNDS OF STUFF, YOU WILL HAVE ACHING SHOULDERS &, EVENTUALLY, BACK PROBLEMS. THIS UNIT IS NOT MEANT TO WEIGH FOOD ALTHOUGH IT DOES COME WITH A CLEAR PLASTIC COVER SHEET FOR THE PLATFORM.

I bought this for my concession.....it stay on constantly, which is huge when in a hurry, it has easily paid for itself, by me weighing meat sandwiches that I sell and not giving away to much product.....Very pleased with this purchase....oh and it has a large weighing area, easy to clean.....

I own two pack and ship stores and I found this scale to be the best scale ever for our needs. Because we routinely mail letters which are weighed in ounces and packages which are usually weighed in pounds, this scale can accurately weigh either without changing any settings. And although it states in the description that it has a 15 lb. capacity, i have found that it will go up to at least 25 lbs. Obviously we require another lb. scale as well since we sometimes ship boxes up to 150 lbs. but this scale works for 90% of our packages. II also really appreciate the "hold" function for weighing big boxes were you may be unable to see the readout. I've used many scales in my many years in the business and this is my favorite by far.

I have owned a number of digital scales over the years, but I like this one the best. It's a bit large, but it has a great build quality. It turns on instantly and you can easily change between different measurements (grams, ounces, pounds/ounces, etc.). It zeros instantly. It has large, easy to read backlit numbers. Very good quality. I would buy this again.

This product has met my expectations. I did perform market research as to the best scale I could get for my purposes and I believe this is the right fit.

When I bought this thing it would work but wouldn't turn off without unplugging it. I just used it that way to avoid the hassle of returning it but now it won't turn on and is useless. POS!
