Needed some alteration to use for iris and lilies, but overall an excellent product
I was disappointed when I first received this. The existing holes were way too small for the iris and lilies I was planning to plant, I had misread the description and thought the holes were 6 inches in diameter rather than 6 inches apart. I was able to enlarge them without losing the integrity of the fabric. I laid down the first 20 feet or so yesterday and am very pleased. The lines on the fabric kept the irises in straight rows, and was easily secured to the ground with landscaping staples. I had no trouble planting and for once I didn't wind up fighting the fabric. The first blizzard of the season blew in today, and everything stayed put. (Which is frequently not the case here) I'm so pleased I'm planning to try it in my vegetable garden next summer.PS A year down the road and I love this product. My iris are doing really well and the weeds are easily controlled. It survived the winter with lows of -20 and a scorching summer with a high of 102 with no noticeable change. That's a 122 degree difference in 6 months or less with no issues. I highly recommend it.

Good stuff
We bought this material to control weeds in our garlic and shallot beds. This will be our first season with it, so I can't comment on its durability, but it appears to be quite sturdy. It is advertised as 6" spacing, bit I found it to be 8", on center, which is more what we wanted. Maybe they mean that there is 6" of material between holes.

Works very well
I used this product to plant sunflowers in my garden. The holes were well spaced for the seeds, and the tarp keeps the weeds down.

Perfect for your garden
This is a great product for the gardener in you. Holes are placed for convenience and work well for all plants, plus no weeds.

It is easy to lay as long as the garden is worked up well and smooth.
Holes might be to close together but we have skipped every other hole when planting larger items.

Length & 'pre-punched' fall short
I liked the idea of saving myself some labor burning 500 holes in a 50' length of fabric but disappointed with the quality of the product. The lengths of our 3 pieces were 1 to 3 feet short of 50', and there are a lot of the holes that are only partially punched.
