The person I gave this to loved reading it - twice! And highly recommends it!

The USO phenomenon deserved its own book, but this book would have benefited greatly from some professional editing. There were some obvious errors to those of us who live on the southern California coast and are familiar with Catalina and the channel, and the writing seemed to have never moved beyond the draft stage. Some of the incidents were pieced in from other sources without any commentary or analysis, either on their own or in the larger picture. That said, the book focused our attention on a subject that is both important and intriguing,

Hi All, I just purchased this book after listening to Mr Preston Dennett on the KGRA Radio-Podcast "Don Ecker" UFO Radio Show. After listening to the interview, I had to buy this book ! I have in Southern California since the 1960's and did not know how much USO's and UFO's took place in Calif, especially sightings that took placed on the coast. I was also amazed of all the USO's and UFO's over Santa Catalina Island, just off the coast of Southern California ! WOW! , just what I heard Mr Dennet tell of incidents and of witnesses, including a whole Boy Scout Troup that was camped out on the Island and what happened to them is another reason I bought this book. I will update this post when I am done reading it for a follow up.

Not quite as knowledgeable as I was hoping for. Older information.

I just ordered "Undersea UFO Base" this month, and got it very quickly, in excellent condition! The cover art is lovely. In the introduction it says that unidentified objects have been seen coming out of the waters along California's coast since the 1920's. I look forward to reading the rest of the book, to learn more about these objects, and find out what they are, because Dennett always provides lots of information in his books. There is also an impressive bibliography of sources for further research.

I have several books by Preston Dennett and this one is probably the Best. Well written and well researched, it takes only a few pages to realize there is something very strange going on in the Santa Catalina Island area. Compelling cases with very credible witnesses. Great read! If you are into unexplained mysteries, don't miss this book.

The book, aside from some minor grammatical errors or typos, was a fun and interesting read. It was well-documented, and gave a reasonably balanced argument for the strange lights and crafts seen in SoCal near Catalina Island.

Many witness reports that I had never read about. I've lived in Socal for 10 years and have yet to see a UFO or USO. Probably don't want to...

Enjoyed the book very informative

A well written book, loved the short stories. Would love to hear more of these underwater phenomena. To the ufo enthusiasts out there, Richard Nolan will be publishing a UFOs in the water book shortly.

Loved this book as it interviews many people who claims they have seen UFOs in the sea. It really is convincing something is going on there. It makes sense we don't enough about under the sea. I think we know more about the Sky. If you love UFOs you will really enjoy the interviews. Great reading
