For silver solder use
This stuff has worked well for me and I am a very early beginner. It seems to tolerate red to orange heat, way too much, very well.

A must have when silver soldering, especially on old copper. Ensures good quality joints.

It's good flux it just suck how they package it , they ship it in a bag however it still ends up leaking.
