Don't really work.
Installed these out of desperation after a crashed cycle. I'd been monitoring nitrite for a week prior. They made literally no difference even with 2 in the filter. Try something else

This is another solid, name-brand Fluval product that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’ve used these ammonia remover pads consistently in my FX-4 filters, and they’ve been reliable every time. Easy to install, fit properly, and they help keep water quality stable, no drama, no surprises. If you’re running a Fluval FX system and want dependable ammonia control, these are a no-brainer. Steady, effective, and worth keeping in rotation. Calm water, happy fish, mission accomplished.

Even though many people told me this would be a waste of money, I was desparate to try anything to reduce the nitrites in my 50 gallon tank. This product worked exactly as advertised and I haven't had an issue with nitrites since using these pads. Definitely recommend!

I'm very pleased with Fluval products and the Nitrite filters are a very effective and affordable way to keep your fish healthy and happy. Remember to use their other filters in conjunction with this filter as well. Carbon filters, ceramic bio filters and polishing filters are all required for the Fluval canister filters.

Excellent produit. Parfait pour le Fx6. Facile d’utilisation. Nous avons eu un gros problème de nitrites durant un temps, qui nous a fait malheureusement perdre quelques poissons. Même si le problème de nitrites est passé, j’aime mieux prévenir avec l’utilisation de ce produit! Nous sommes très satisfait de notre achat!
