Have used this a few time since the purchase. Sturdy and holds a lot of wood as well as a lot of weight. Easy to hold, the wax keeps the cloth from getting snagged as the material is a heavy bull type of cotton like you find on those heavy Carhartt jackets.I use it for more than just firewood, great for gathering up tree limbs and sticks in the yard after a storm. Holds about 15-20 lbs no problem.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how well-made this carrier was upon arrival. It's got the consistency of Carhartt material and the straps even have some of the same material on the handle. I easily carried in enough wood and kindling for a full fire (without dropping anything) between my shed and house. Would certainly buy this as a gift after now having one for myself.

Attractive, sturdy cord wood carrier that will do the job. I like the fact that it has a bottom panel that makes loading it with wood a bit easier. The only improvement I would suggest is using a larger gauge of canvas, which would make it considerable more durable.

I bought 2 of thses and was able to put 5-6 pieces of firewood in each one. It made it much easier to carry more wood and stay clean. By carrying firewood in this manner, it keeps the weight at a much lower center of gravity which makes walking more stable.

Too early to tell if it will hold up. Seems like it’s made ok. Very stuff so it doesn’t mold into the holder like the original one. Maybe it will last longer though???

I'm surprised people are saying this thing doesn't hold up. I suspect it gets brittle in the cold weather and might be more prone to tearing. My experience with it has been in the spring in the northeast USA (not very cold). I think people who are reporting rips and tears are probably being careless. I have to carry logs about 70 feet. I usually take about 6 at a time. It has worked just fine.
