Going Greentm Tall Premier Hopper Bird Feeder

Wow what a sturdy well made bird feeder. Anticipate it will last a long time, My husband used a pressure treated post and added additional hanging feeders & suet feeders which he then secured to our sons back deck. Birds have already found it. Great Christmas gift.

Happy with solid, sturdy construction; would rather hang it under eaves to protect from rain. No easy way to hang this birdfeeder.

Good feeder to replace our large wooden feeders. Note: It does not come with any hardware, so if you are pole mounting, purchase the pole mount bracket sold separately. Also, the Plexiglas sides are cut too short at the bottoms where the seed comes out, so need to push it up by hand at every fill so seed will fill the trays until I have time for a permanent fix. Manufacturer should fix this problem. Plexiglas side and end pieces have way too much up/down play in the slots that hold them.

I've had this for over a year. It is holding up well to heat, cold, sun & ice. It is easy to attach to a post, fill, and clean. It holds about 5 pounds of sunflower seed.

Upon receipt of my GoingGreen hopper feeder from Amazon, I was most impressed and thought I had done the right thing--for a month or so. Now, months later, this hopper feeder is experiences structure failure such that one of the Plexiglas walls no long stays in its tracks. The problem seems to be that the wall that shares the same side as the lift-up roof panel (for refilling) has no horizontal support whereas the other side is held horizontally supported by screws through the roof. This is a ridiculous oversight.Two times now, with the hopper full, one Plexiglas wall has become disengaged with its track and has created quite a dream for those ground feeders! I regret buying this large and expensive hopper feeder and would not repeat the mistake. Nor would I buy from this manufacturer again. Looking for a hopper for your birds? Look to the top of the line providers like Wild Birds Unlimited, where you may pay a little more but will get what you pay for at least.4/2012 UPDATE: Being handy with an electric drill, a hand saw, etc. I was able to restore this feeder to its proper condition after installing a wooden dowel across the top just under the roof peak and after repairing a broken screw by redrilling the hole and running a new screw from the bottom. Now the feeder is strong again and does not lose seed, but I never should of had to do all this repair work on a feeder that cost so much and is under a year old. The whole problem could have been avoided by using strong screw hardware instead of the aparently weaker cheaper screws that were used.

I love this feeder. It is made of recycled material. The cardinals love it and I always have birds getting dinner.

Can't beat this one for capacity and durability. My birds love it.
