Toontrack Indie Folk EZX (boxed)

This is my second EZX pack for EZDrummer 2. I use EZD2 mainly as a sound bank for my Behringer electronic drum kit. The Indie Folk expansion pack is everything I hoped it would be - beautifully recorded drums with an eye toward less traditional rock arrangements. Although I haven't yet used the included MIDI performances, a quick preview of some of them makes it obvious that a lot of thought was put into creating original pieces. One could easily drop these into the song creator track and come with something very interesting.The vintage Gretch and Ludwig kits are great and the room mic ambiance Toontrack includes on these packs is extremely authentic sounding. But what really stands out is the Slingerland Rolling Bomber kit. If you're looking for a completely unique set of percussion for your low-fi or folk influences songs, this kit is perfect. It's big and boomy and extremely fun to play with my e-drums.Overall I have found Toontrack's EZDrummer 2 and EXZ packs a huge help with my song arrangements, not only making my computer based recording sound completely realistic, but also inspiring me with new ways to create.

Thus far in the EZ Drummer world I had only gotten the more rock and metal expansions. The built in drums and beats were fine as well but this pack gave me yet another solid option.

I've purchased most of toontracks expansions but if your looking for drums with character than look no further! Great depth, realism, and very customizable. A must have for all genres!!

Haven't used it yet but I love all of Toontrack's drum kits. Great sounding on all of them. They really know how to make the cymbals sound great.
