It works. Finally something does.
What can you say about this. It works. My caulk was not dried out almost 2 months later when I needed it again. I tried all the tricks to make caulk last they all don’t work. The problem is that air enters through the bottom as well as the tip of the caulk canister. This prevents that which is why it works. It pays for itself if you use caulk but not often enough to use entire bottles within a few days.

Work well to keep caulk fresh and useable.
I bought these on the recommendation of a youtube channel to which I subscribe. Very happy to have found these! Trick is to cut the opening in the caulk tube to about the same as the "plug" (I don't know what to call it!) that extends from the top cover. That way it fully blocks the hole and the caulk stays pliant and usable for a long time (I have found it is still good after more than 6 months). Sure beats the nail/screw and duct tape I was using before!

Works. For a time
This is a cool idea, but certain types of caulk just dont last beyond a year even with something like this. This tube helps if you have a tube of caulk that will be used within 12 months of opening, but really beyond that - nothing can beat time.

Works as intended
These do a great job of keeping old caulk tubes fresh. The only thing to keep in mind is that you should not use for different color caulks if you want to keep your colors pristine as some old, still fresh. caulk remains in the preserver when the caulk tube is used up.

Work Great
I believe I have purchased about every type of product to preserve opened tubes of caulkThis one works pretty well so far. I purchased one to see if it worked after a month of using it with one opened tube I purchased a few more. It actually works in preserving your open tubes of caulking

Product works very Well!
Like a lot of homeowners I periodically have the need to use Chalking of various types for home projects. I buy a tube, use maybe one third to a half of it and then seal the end and save it for the next time I need it. Of course when "next time" comes the chalk is usually dried out and no longer useable. Last year I purchased this product and used it to store a partially used tube of chalk. About 14 months later I installed a new aluminum storm door and needed to chalk around the frame. I used the tube stored in the Airtite container in my chalking gun and it was perfectly preserved. No quick trip to the hardware store required!

Works OK and protects your tube
It keeps the stuff usable and if you toss your tubes in a bag or box or with anything that could smush it this will protect it. I just can't give this 5 stars due to the price. The majority of the time I just use the caps you can buy for under $2 and they work just fine. I don't keep any tube for a long time.I put a silicone tube in it and will keep it in there for months and will update. Right now for me these just cost too much for what they are and do. If you use the larger tubes you're sol. If you get any residual or leak it's wrestling time.
