PLEASE READ THIS IT WILL HELP WITH ASSEMBLY
SHIPPING: 2 day ship (Amazon prime), was packed good to where no pieces were tossed around.ASSEMBLY: super easy to put together. Took me less than 10 minutes. The only one tough part was when you are putting the second handlebar in, the fabric pulling makes it difficult but I figured out a way that makes it a lot easier. And that is Shown in the first picture. I do not put the fabric all the way down into place until it is fully assembled. If you push the fabric up when you are putting that second handlebar in it is a lot easier and it pretty much goes right in. (See photo one)You will know what I mean when you put it together. Don't put the fabric all the way down into place until it is fully assembled. The Allen bolts screw in easily. The Allen wrench works great. In some areas you just have to adjust to where the holes are lined up but that is anything you are trying to screw together. it seems wobbly and misshapen when you are putting it together but when you put that last piece in it just makes everything strong and sturdy and everything just comes together nicely.USE: do not expect the part where you put your net to be like a harder Contour pillow. When you put your head on the mesh part it does give a little. If you need extra support in that Arch on your neck like I do I put a small towel there and it seems to give me the support I need. I had a neck injury and it is healing up, if my neck was not sore at all and everything was back to normal I would not even need the towel this would be perfect for me without it.SITUPS: when you use this you can't rely on this piece of equipment to do the situp for you. You have to do the situp and use your abdominal muscles. If you are pushing on this piece of equipment to pull you up, it's going to move and slip and slide on the floor. If you use your stomach muscles and just use this machine as a guide for you it does not move at all whatsoever. All the parts that touch the floor have like a rubber grip so it does not slip.I know the picture shows push-ups and dips on this machine but I would not recommend it for that because when I try to do a push up on it it kind of moves and stretches maybe an inch or so and that's with not much weight going down on it. I would only use it for sit-ups.I am 5'6" and I fit this machine perfectly.I find it better for my neck when I put my hands and hold onto the sides of the mesh.I do not understand why people have left bad feedback about the assembly. You're going to have to be patient, no complaining, the instructions are super super easy to follow. You will just have to be patient and do it.I have added photos of the assembly instructions.Good luck😉UPDATE: if you put your shoulders on the mesh part a little bit it is more comfortable on my head and neck. . and if you do it correctly you will only feel the burn in your stomach and it does not hurt any other part of my body. Wow! I will purchase this again. don't listen to the reviews of people complaining they're probably complainers already and looking for a way to get a tight stomach without doing the work.I am doing four sets of 20 reps and by the second set halfway through it is really really burning my abdominal muscles.

Happy with the purchase!
I was a little hesitant about buying ANY of the ab crunch machines I saw advertised here on AMAZON, mostly becasue the reviews for each device were from one extreme to the other. Back in the 1990's I had a similar device and it encouraged me to do more sit ups/crunches just by the fact it was there in my bedroom and I could knock some out of the way in the morning before work, after work, before dinner, etc etc.I ordered this on a Friday night and it arrived early Sunday. All the parts inside the box were securely fastened, so there were no jingles of things clanking around in there. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge. There is a guide, but I think if little adhesive numbers or letters were on each part (which could be removed once fitted) would make things a bit simpler. Also, the mesh neck/head fabric needs to be stretched in order to fit the second tube after the first is attached. If the manufacturer had the mesh fabric slide over the tubes after they were attached, either by strong velcro some other technique, putting this together would have been a bit more simple. It's a bit larger than the one I had back in the 1990's and it's quite comfortable to use. I feel that it's pretty solid, but not solid enough to do dips. It's primarily for ab crunches, so don't expect to get a full upper body work out with this thing. All in all, this will help isolate your abs when you are doing crunches.EDIT: I have used this device for dips and it's very stable. I'm 164 pounds so use that as your guideline. We have a rubber gym matted floor so make sure you have some base where the device won't slip!EDIT. Wow! Looking back at my review for this in 2021. Today is July 7, 2022. I now hover between 148 - 151 pounds and can easily do 500 crunches in the AM and 500 crunches in the PM. BUT that’s just me. I worked my way up to it and between this, almost daily cardio and weight training, I’m in better shape than when I left my first review. I can see my abs! I love this! So much so that I’m having one sent to where I’ll be staying on vacation next week so I can keep up with my progress.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
First, a word about assembly. As I saw with a previous review, I had a great deal of trouble getting the mesh head support piece to fit. The problem was that the Connector Bar and Handle Bar pieces were not properly aligned/not flush, however you phrase it. To make a comparison to male/female type parts, lets just say one of the parts was definitely not interested in mating together. I struggled greatly trying to adjust the pieces to fit and almost gave up. It took close to an hour (had to stop to get my breath and keep re-thinking how to accomplish this) before I was finally able to force the pieces together. All the while I was concerned I would twist things so badly the device would be useless.Even after getting the pieces together they would only slide onto one another so far. I was NEVER able to get the bars far enough down to be able to put the last two bolts in. However, the pieces fit together tightly enough as they were for this to not be an issue. It may help that I'm only 150 pounds and don't put much stress on the bars. This equipment is a great aid for crunches. It supports your neck and head well. I would caution to not put the full weight of your shoulders and back on it, just your head and the upper most part of your shoulders.I tried doing dips and don't trust it for that. Again, I'm 150 pounds and it feels like it wouldn't take much for my weight to bend this into an unusable piece of junk. I wouldn't use it for push-ups either. Possibly because I couldn't get the last two bolts in it's not stable for those exercises. But all I wanted it for is the crunches so I'm good. And as a previous review pointed out, you have to use your abs to pull up, not holding onto the frame and coming up by the strength of your arms and hands.
