Great flavor for low carb alternative.

I love this brand. A lot of people complained about how hard to cook it. It's because this pancake mix is not just keto but gluten free as well. Gluten free items don't cook or bake the same way as regular things. It takes a little practice but so worth it.They are tasty and the closest to real pancake for me. Cook them on low heat, flip them in a minute or so. Put some syrup or whatever you like and Bon appetite 😋

I mean lets be honest once you are on keto it does not matter what you do dishes will not taste like the real thing because you have to substitute non keto items.With that being said for keto pancakes they tasted pretty good. I've noticed you have to make sure that you make it with almond milk instead of water. Also make sure they are small ones and not huge pancakes with a lot of batter in them since you have to just make the chocolate chips slightly melt and with more batter the longer you have to leave them on the skillet. The gritty taste its still there but it isn't that bad. The chips make it less noticeable and once you place butter on them it is quite delicious.

***Updated review***In addition to the review I wrote below I reached out to the company and they were more than happy to forward me a new batch of the pancake mix that I preferred. They were very helpful and understanding and no questions asked. I really appreciate their quality of service even if the product was not the best in my opinion.I've used other products from this company and they were really tasty, in which when I started Keto again I decided to purchase this one instead. Although it says "Keto" on the bag, it is positively one of the worst Keto branded products that I've ever used. The waffles fall apart , the texture is gritty as others have described it, and it literally has no flavor and tastes like cardboard. You're better off making your own keto pancakes and or waffles from scratch.

I’m reviewing the 3 pack chocolate chip pancake mix. The expiration dates aren’t until 2022, so I’m not sure if I got a bad batch, but I made one of the three bags following the directions exactly. The pancakes seemed to cook very slowly and whenever I would try to flip them they would break apart. I made sure not to overstir the batter and I only flip pancakes once. Since I was able to make about 12 pancakes from one package I was able to adjust the temperature to experiment on a few and I always had the same issue. I think the almond flour used doesn’t stick together very well, and in return the pancakes don’t become fluffy. They turned very brown (from the almond flour) when cooked and I was able to get some made without any pancake disasters, but most cooked poorly and broke apart/became scrambled messes on the flat nonstick griddle. I have never had such difficulties before with any pancakes tearing off into separate pieces while cooking, and I make pancakes very often. Although the texture seemed off to me (very dense instead of fluffy) I was a bit let down by how few chocolate chips there were! I ended up eating only about two pancakes in total before I threw them all away. The chocolate chips are small in consideration to normal baking chips, so they weren’t really “worth” eating except around the chocolate bits. Even with syrup, I was disappointed by them. I feel like something sticky may be needed in the ingredients to help the batter stick together more, perhaps a tablespoon of honey or something. I also wish I had added vanilla or some cinnamon but like I said I followed the directions exactly, so they came out pretty bland.This is a reputable brand and I’m just bummed I spent a lot of money to get a product that didn’t seem right. I don’t know what to do with the other two unopened packs. These came out nothing like normal pancakes, Whole Foods protein pancake mix, Aldi protein pancake mix, or the Kodiak cakes protein buttermilk pancake mix. I’m sure there must be some reason my batch turned out bad, but I have tried many brands and never had an issue before, using the same flat electric griddle. Sad I spent so much just for them to not turn out right after cooking, but the package arrived in a timely manner and like I stated earlier the packages were not expired. They came in a clear plastic bag that you can retape to keep the bags together, which I liked. I also liked the simplicity of the ingredients and the easy directions, and the nutritional value and them being Keto is wonderful, but they didn’t work out for me. Thanks :)

Love this for my keto diet...much lower price than supermarket

I haven't had sweets for ages so my expectations weren't high, however, with the heavy price tag I wasn't expecting what I got. The grainy texture is something you grow to expect with keto substitutes, but this tasted just awful. I'm sorry to say, it was like I was eating dirt. Even the chocolate chips didn't taste good. I must have gotten a bad batch because the last time I had this brand it was the plain keto panacakes made in a waffle maker and they were really yummy. Super glad I only bought one bag.
