Love this book it is great for my granddaughter. Gave it to her for her birthday yesterday and she has all ready learned two cords

Beginning students need to be moving all over the keyboard from the very first lesson. This book has both hands staying in one position the entire time, learning to play with finger numbers. Not good for the serious student or long-term. There are so many better options!

I am an adult. But even though this book may seem like it's for kids, I like it because it’s simple. I just wish there were more of these simple books for adults.

As an experienced piano teacher I have to say this is a good book. A new 7 yr old student had been teaching herself very successfully before starting lessons using this and I see no reason to move her to another tutor series and am considering making it one of my "go to" tutor books. Nice to have something fresh to use..clear uncluttered pages, British time names, pleasant tunes..many with teacher accompaniments.

I am currently teaching a 6 year old pupil. I bought this book in April and it has really proved a great teaching tool. It is easy to understand, and I feel it spends adaquate time on each new section learnt. It has theory practical, and rhythmical challenges throughout.I will definitely utilise this book in the future for other pupils.If you purchase this book I don’t think you will be disappointed.

This is a superb beginners book, ideal for the very young pupil, so very pleased with it, as a music teacher I've seen most of the starter books and can thoroughly recommend this one.

I use this with a couple of my youngest pupils and they love it. Clear easy to read notation and great illustrations.

Not a beginners book, get you to number your fingers. More about learning notes, sembreve, Minim & crotchet. Up from beginners. Front covers misleading. Found Zach Evans better at learning basics correct way.
