great all round bird food
This bird food has a good equal balance of different seeds, fruit and cereal. With my well known brand bird food, I only had a few, doves, chaffinches and pigeons coming to my bird table, but now I am pleased to say that I get Robins, Blackbirds, Greenfinches and Bluetits , to mention a few plus the others. It is such delight to see the femail blackbird come and go off with a load of raisins in her beak to feed her babies. Thanks so much, when I need to re order I will definitely get more of this.

Definitely not 'No Mess' bird food
I used to buy the RSPB No Mess bird food but as it is so expensive I thought I'd look on here. I found Amazon's own Birdies Bird Food and decided to try it as the price was very reasonable. As you can see from my pics, it is not a No Mess bird food at all, in fact it is the opposite. These pics were taken after just 2 days and it seems the birds are removing the bits they don't like and just dropping them beneath the feeders. It looks like I've spilled a box of cornflakes on the ground.Won't be buying this again.

Birds loved it...but it gave me some work to do!!
The birdies did lap it up but a lot of huge raisins which kept blocking the feed hole which I had to remove by hand..used as ground feed. Also had to hand crush peanuts as they are whole in this bag ..which is a chocking hazard whilst in a general seed mix?..I would order again if weren't for having to do these things...birds did like it 😊..heavy duty plastic bag not good for environmental reason. .

Birds like it.
The bird seed arrived the next day... we’ll before the expected date.It appeared as described...although I did add a bag of suet pellets to the mix.The ultimate test is if the birds like it. So I watched and waited...It didn’t take long before a finch arrived, and all the usual regulars seem pleased with the mix, including the squirrels.I will see how the rest of the bag goes down but I would buy again if it continues like this. Very pleased.

Not bagged with filler birds don't eat
Great seed birds love it and it's not filled with filler rubbish. Seeing more variety of bird life in garden and really brightens up my day.

Not well recieved by the feather community
I bought this as the reviews were fairly good and the price was lower than the previous product (which I was happy with apart from the cost). The birds really dont like this mix, the cereal flakes are huge and there are lots of them, along with the peanuts. When you take out those two items the grain, seeds left are not of a decent quality and the birds are dumping most of it on the ground which is making a mess bit a godsend for the doves and woodpigeons. Also due to the large cereal flakes and nuts every day the feeder blocks as the mix doesn't flow down which results in having to take the feeder down and give it a good shake just to allow the birds to feed.I am not sure what to do but one option will be to seive the mix to take out the large grains/nuts and mix whats left with a more expensive mix to at least use it all up as I have well over 10kg left............

The small seeds seem not suitable for our wild birds
With the cheaper seed mix, don't usually spend as much normally, I usually have to top up the feeders every 2 days but this expensive seed mix but it has hardly been touched. I will have to filter out the small seed
