I had never used this Charlie cologne, so I took a chance. It came quickly, and I love it!

It is priced well and comes perfectly whole!

Charle Gold is my signature scent. Been using it for years. I have Lots and lots of NAME Brand perfumes. I wish I could put a picture of all my Name Brand perfumes I have on my shelf. I still use Charlie Gold, smells so good and the scent lasts a long time on your clothes, of all the Charlie scents Charlie Gold is my favorite. I just ordered these two bottles, when my Charlie Gold gets low I order two boxes at a time.

I have liked Charlie for years and it was my favorite. However as I have gotten older I find that the scent is a bit to strong for older women. I will say that the scent does last for a long while.

By today’s standards, this is heavy and a little aggressive. To me, it’s exactly what I love - a perfume with character and presence. Charlie Gold is long lasting, warm, uplifting, and beautiful. It makes me feel good to wear it. Very lightly applied, it can be office and church friendly; more and it’s a really good evening scent as heavier application brings out the spices and ambery base. It’s one of my all time favorites that smells and performs better than many MUCH more expensive perfumes.

I'd heard a lot of reviews about Charlie Gold being such a good amber perfume. For such a great price I decided to give it a try. First...Amazon's packaging was terrible so my perfume arrived with the box totally crushed. Fortunately, the perfume bottle was undamaged and amazingly did not leak. Charlie Gold has a very vintage vibe. I detect an aldehyde quality in the opening which isn't listed in the notes. Its pretty screechy to my nose in the beginning but eventually settles down. I would call it more of a musk perfume than an amber. Performance is excellent, especially since it's an EDT. I got around 6 hours of wear before it started to fade. Its ok, just not my style. If you are looking for a classic, old school perfume, this would be a good choice.

As far as the size it's a good size the bottle is perfect in size but the smell is just not for me it really stinks and it's really really strong it does it smell like it says when you click on it it said it was a buttery caramel scent absolutely not there is no sweet scent to this at all ..... And I have Charlie red and I absolutely love Charlie ♥️ Red ... But yeah there's no comparison the stuff stinks but that's just my opinion someone else could think it smells good but not me
