This is a high quality honey gate. Does exactly what you want it to do with no leaks and good seals.2 Install tips:1. when mounting in a food safe bucket, make sure you drill the hole high enough to accomodate the large nylon nut that goes on the inside of the bucket. I originally failed to take that into consideration and ruined an otherwise good bucket!2. Once you have the hole drilled in the bucket, only turn the inside nut by hand (dont use a wrench). Hand tight is perfect. Dont try and spin the outside piece to tighten the nut as that will distort the gasket that seals the gate on the bucket.

Very easy to install in my 5 gallon bucket. Saved $26.00 they want for a bucket with a honey gate.

Both of mine leaked at the gate. One of them leaked at the pail as well. Sounds like some were luckier than I was, but I can't recommend these gates.

Purchased these to replaced one on exractor.Original was same size as dimension shown on the image.But item received was smaller and did not fit.

Using a gate makes handling honey so much easier. This is the only one I’ve ever used and it works perfectly.
