Fun project
Fun for my 56 year old husband. My husband retired last year and this helps him from going crazy! I unfortunately have to add on a room tehe

An old model with significant updates by Tamiya.
The model came out in the 70's but Tamiya has made many updates/upgrades to the kit including: photo etched canopy, metal gun barrel, and improvements to many of the castings such as the motorcycle, some figures and accessories (gas cans, etc...). The directions are okay though you must rely on assembly drawings almost exclusively. The model goes together nicely and has some nice details. I would have like to see some welding details but that's probably too much to ask. The sprues are dated. The vehicle itself is on sprues dating to the mid 70's, while others date to 2007. Tamiya could improve this product by updating these older sprues (that have a lot of flash/defects) to match the improved quality of the new sprues. Overall, I think this is a great build for the price.

Tamiya Always Great
Tamiya always makes a great kit. I think the instructions could be a little more clearer as far as certain parts of the build. The quality of the plastic is excellent, but needs at least two coats of paint for any color.

Fun kit to build
I enjoyed the detail and the figures. The photo etched screen on the turret was a particularly nice touch. The wheels were ingeniously designed to move. The motorcycle's handlebars turn. I hope to have time this summer to do a diorama with these parts.
