Makes templating for cutting to fit, fast and easy. I used to use a bevel square but use this now instead.pretty fast out of the box, after a little practice you can get super accurate. for the price it is a no brainer. Cabinet installer- finish carpenter, scribes, plumbing cut outs, window sills, thresholds

It's pretty straight forward. Works as advertised. What I like about it is that you can use it for all sorts of things that you need to measure. Yes, you can get a level and a tape measure to hang a picture. But why not just whip this thing out and measure how far from the edge of the wall it is? There are a lot of possibilities.

Works well with angles but when you tighten the knobs you have to be real careful to not bump into anything cause they’ll shift even if tightened to their max. I was working on attic measuring angles and had to go up and down with this thing making sure I didn’t bump it on the ladder on my way down. Can be better

I use this device like advertised. It was very accurate and save me a lot of time. If used as directed, you will find nothing to dislike about this template.

My husband is SO happy to have this. I saw my brother's tool, and had to get one! Tool jealousy wins again!

There has got to be a better way to get the sections to lock down better! Even after you crank it down really tight, the sections still will creep on you. Anyone have a solution instead of the plastic washers? For the cheap 10bucks, I'll toss it in the tool cabinet, because next year they will be 15.

It's a great gauge holder to, this thing is nice, it does have a nice weight to it, it's thick and beveled in the center. I have found about 15 uses for it so far.I do recommend it.

Can't complain about the price. It is accurate if you handle it very gently after getting your measurements. The slightest bump can mess it up. If you carry it carefully from the measure site to the piece of wood for tracing, the cuts turn out absolutely perfect. Saved me a lot of time.

Lo usé principalmente para instalar azulejo, ahora lo uso siempre que necesito hacer barrenos o perforaciones con distancia simétrica
