Angelfishes of the World
I like this book very much. I am just now learning about fishes of the ocean. I was interested about Angelfishes in the Caribbean, Barbados and Jamaica. All are beautiful no mater where they're found.

Another Stunning Book
To put it simply, I ordered this book on a whim, recommended from a fellow marine aquarist, and since then I haven't been able to put it down. I have never seen a more comprehensive and affordable review of Saltwater Angelfish, including many images of extremely rare species and hybrids. The images of Angelfish Aquariums maintained by aquarists in Asia is a unique section that really makes you think about how we keep our own aquariums. The only section I found lacking was the section which covered the current captive rearing of marine angelfish - I believe the author could have done more in-depth research, especially into the farm-raised Pomacanthus currently being produced in Asia.

Amazing angelfish book
Amazing book. Excellent photography of both the more commom angels and the rarer, difficult or impossible to find in a LFS, ones. Basic info on fish and aquarium husbandry, not a fault, IMO, as most people with special interest on angels may already have aquariuns for some time and read other general set-up and maintance books. Well worth the money.

Nice pictures but not much content
The pictures are gorgeous but the descriptions are not very fact-filled. They are more "lyrical" than useful. Example: in the description of C. argi, the Cherub angelfish, the author starts off "It is a "Cherub", like a fat pretty child with small wings." The genera are not arranged alphabetically or in any other order that I can discern. Another example for a fish species that I am particularly interested in obtaining and desirous to learn as much about as possible: C. aurantia (Golden angelfish). "The body shape is rounded, the mouth is tiny, and the face is so cute." None of these "facts" really help me learn how to keep this fish successfully.
