Great item for mounting single samurai sword on the wall. Also like the fact there is some felt protection for the sword to rest on, leaves no mark on scabbard which is important.

I bought these to mount a replica sword to the wall and like others have said, I'm dissappointed both with the material used plus the mounting method.Firstly the material is basically compressed cardboard and not wood. This means that when sliding the bracket onto the screw it strips the material making it very likely to pull through completely.There is also a single screw mounting point which if used in the original intended manner means the bracket is likely to spin and impossible to mount tight to the wall.For info, I've resolved some of these issues and modified the bracket by drilling a pilot how through under the felt into the original end position and then screwing through the bracket. This is a much more secure fit and I don't know why this isn't used originally.1/5 would not really recommend.

It's made from cheap wood, painted and not lacquered like the one in the second image, the gap is to big, so it is nearly on its side, as you can see the one in the second image is a nice fit, I don't need another, but if I did I would find out where I got the first one.

Only one screw for each hook so they can spin and I have to be extremely careful putting anything on them
