Redfield Rebel 10x42mm Binocular

Great clarity, solid construction, eye relief is perfect, not too heavy, very water resistant, sat in rain all days and had no issues. PHENOMENAL in low light. I can see farther and better in early morning and late evening than I can with my naked eye. Overall a great pair of Binos, best in class for the price. You would probably have to spend at least $100 dollars more to get something better and at that point you would mostly be paying for better glass and a name. I love this pair!

I have two pairs of these binoculars and I love 'em both. The clarity and durability can't be beat at this price point, and they come with a really nice neck strap and case. I also have a larger pair of Leupold binoculars, but I find myself using this pair more often. They're great for general use, and excellent for bird watching.

Nice, bright, clear binoculars at a good price. Tried several more expensive options out at the store costing twice as much before deciding on these and am not dissapointed at all. Well worth the price.

Amazing binoculars. I bought these to use on safari for the past two weeks. From dusk to dawn, and at high noon, all viewings were crystal clear. Nice size. Easy to use and comfortable to hold with one hand and adjust if necessary. Even the safari guides thought they were great to look through too. Look forward to trying them out at sporting events and the theatre.

Great bino's! A little heavy in the hand for the size, but the quality more than makes up for the weight. The neck strap is a stretchy neoprene type material that distributes the weight evenly making them feel lighter around the neck. Images are clear, bright and sharp. The body of the unit is sturdy, and easy to manipulate. The rubber like housing that covers the frame of the bino's has a great feel, good grip, and also provides protection as well as a scratch resistant shell. The rubber cover for the eye-pieces is also thick and sturdy. The neck strap threads through them to prevent loss. The only complaint I have is the objective lens covers are individual snap-in type covers (like camera lens covers) that are not connected to the unit and will probably get lost without some extra effort. This is a minor issue that would not stop me from buy this product again. Redfield has been around a long time and are sometimes overlooked when going up against Nikon and Leupold and other big name optics companies. Don't waste your money on a name. Buy what works.

Excellent value for a solidly built roof prism binocular (very rugged). The Rebels have good light gathering, edge to edge clarity, and weight is designed for a long carry. My only minor complaint is that I wish the eye covers are made to stay connected. You would have to spend double the amount to get a binocular this good. It's definitely a good buy and you can not go wrong...

I use these binos when hunting or at the range or just whenever I need to get a closer look at something. At 200 yards I can easily tell where I hit the target with 30+ caliber and barely with the 25/243 caliber..but not 22 or 17 calibers at that range (100yards no problem though in well lighted conditions). Seeing 125lb game up to 1000 yards isn't a problem at all but I make it a rule not to shoot past 400 yards so these binos defanitely fit the bill. I do often use this in combination with my Simmons 20-60x60 spotting scope when at the range/prairie. Per dimensions/weight: they are relatively light although I do recommend the shoulder straps for added comfort when wearing them all day long. They fit perfectly in my hands and not too bulky considering them being 10x42 binos and not 10x50. I currently have Tasco 10x40 and had a Nikon Monarch ATB (lost them somehow) and all I can say is that the clarity in these binos are excellent, even in lower light conditions, worlds better than my Tasco and about the same as the Nikon. Try a pair...Keep in mind they are Redfield is now owned by Leoupold and the quality you get for under $150 (I paid $139.99 on amazon) is a real bargain.

I'm an outfitter and hunting guide in CO. I use binoculars a lot! This glass is very clear. The focus nob stripped and would not stay on within the first 2 months. I was in the middle of hunting season, so I made do with them. I sent them back to Gun Holsters Unlimited and heard nothing for a couple of months. I contacted them and the owner said they dropped the ball and should have contacted me sooner. He sent my money back to me. I was very happy that he was willing to take care of his customer. I used the money to order a new pair. At the price, it was worth another shot. You could pay over double the price for Nikon 10x42's or buy these. I have owned Nikon Monarch 10x42's and had trouble getting both sides to focus the same. If I do not have any more problems with the focus nob, I will be 100% sold on the Redfield 10x42 binoculars and will give them a 5 star rating. VERY CLEAR FOR THE MONEY.
