Decent cable for the cost
Needed a small amount of black cat6 cable and didn’t want to spend a great amount for a couple patch cables. I read thru these reviews and saw that some people received stranded wire instead of solid copper. Not really sure what happened there, I’ve never even seen a cat cable made from stranded wire. Anyway, mine is solid copper, a little on the light side for cat6, but does qualify as cat6. The cat6 I’ve worked with yes had a bit heavier jacket and possibly slightly but not much, thicker copper wire. I immediately terminated both ends of the 100’ roll just to test for breaks as someone else stated. It tested just fine. Other than that, I really didn’t even realize that the cable came with these extra tools as well. I was actually pleasantly surprised. I even went back to see if maybe I ordered the wrong item, or the wrong item was sent. Well it was correct. So I’m happy. Like I said, for the price $16.change for 100’. Pretty good deal if you ask me. And no , I have no clue as to who sells this, so rest assured this review isn’t fake. It’s mine. I hope this helps those who might be in question. Pretty good bargain. Got more than I expected to get. Tools and accessories were a surprising plus.

The CAT Is Out of the Bag
NOTE: I ordered the 500ft CAT6 cable, which I don't see currently available in this listing. YMMV, though I doubt it very much.- - - - - - -Shipping was quick, and lots of extra goodies were included which was very much appreciated. I was worried for a second when my network switch reported a trial drop as 100mb but this was apparently due to a wiring mistake on my part or something, as further testing shows the full gigabit as expected. In fact, every single hangup or fault I was inclined to blame on "budget cabling" throughout my installation project turned out to be a mistake I'd made in some capacity. The cable itself proved to be resilient, dependable, and just way better overall than it really has any right to be at this price point. My drops are all indoors, but I noticed the box mentioned this cabling is rated for outdoor use and I don't doubt it. The outer jacket, while relatively thin, is tough and should stand up to applications to outbuildings and the like, provided you show it the care and respect it deserves. I'd recommend conduit for such applications, but more as a redundancy than a first line of defense. As a heads up to my fellow shoppers, the cat6 connectors included are *not* passthrough. This shouldn't really be a dealbreaker to most and I certainly don't want to sound like I'm complaining about what was essentially a free bonus, but every cable I crimped with non-passthrough connectors seems to have a 50/50 shot at passing tests. I'm just bad at finagling the twisted pairs into the frankly asinine configurations dictated by the T568 standards, so I'm glad I bought some passthrough connectors as well, with the "freebies" being relegated to use as a much appreciated backup option.

Go to the hardware store
Update:Update: while the cable did not fit my needs, the customer service and willingness to work with me on the issues i had warrants at least 3 starsOriginal:If you are looking at this to segmemt the cable. Close your phone, go to the hardware store and pick up some cat6. Don't waste your money here.

Worked good for me.
It was cheaper to make my own wires that fit. Then to buy wires and have a lot of waste in the Attic.

Performance is good, wire is a bit thin.
My Bell modem is in basement and my server is in 2nd floor. I used to use MOCA adapter but performance is not that great. So I decided to route a Cat6 cable. After figured out the cable routing, I ordered this cable. I didn't realize it was in USA. It took about 2 weeks to arrive. Tested and installed it right away. This is a CM cable. It is OK to use in riser application for single family house. The cable seems pretty strong, I pulled it through 2 floors and no issue.Use iperf to test the network, speed is about 930mbps. So performance is good. However as the other people pointed out the wires are pretty thin. Which made crimping a head a bit difficult.

It works!
The length and thickness easily covered three floors. Immediately the speed and interruption issues were gone. The light is bigger and brighter than a second older cable also plugged in. There seems to be no competition issues for the better signal in our home.
