Only 4 of 5 stars because the swivel mount is pretty cheesy. With that said, the light output, run time are both fantastic. The unit feels solid and looks well made. The diffusion filter is a great idea that does reduce the "hot spot" in the scene when filming in very dark locations. You'll need to come up with a better mounting solution that meets your needs but the socket on bottom of the light itself is a standard 1/4x20 threaded socket - same as a (US) tripod and accessories use.One thing that's not made clear is that the "variable color temperature" is accomplished by having two different sets of LEDs at two different color temperatures. When the color temperature dial is all the way (in either direction) only HALF of the LEDs are on. As you rotate the dial, it "cross fades" from one set of lights to the other. For maximum light output, set the dial in the middle and white balance the camera accordingly.

The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the weight. It can make a normal Canon camera a little wobbly. Besides that the lighting is wonderful! The filters are easy to snap on and the dimming feature works great with no flicker that I can see

This is a great light for the money. Being able to adjust color temperature from daylight 5500k to 3200k for indoor situations at this price is really helpful. The batteries seem decent- I've used the light for several hours straight without a problem. The light has a battery tester built in, so you can check how much juice is left. The only drawback to this light is the ball mount which is cheap and not strong enough to hold the light for more than a few minutes if you are going to move around. I have this light mounted on my Gini Rig with my GH3, and it's a good size for that. It's plenty bright for most situations, and although somewhat heavy on the rig, if you place it right it's not a problem. It's a little smaller than a 7" monitor, so I wouldn't want anything bigger. Bigger lights would be on a stand anyway. All in all, it's hard to go wrong with this light. I'll probably buy another one soon.

These are great. This is the third one of these little lights I have purchased. I use these on the road when I'm flying for documentary work and can't drive and take my big LED set. They are really light weight and hold up well. They come in a soft case (not a lot of protection but sufficient). Picture is deceptive in that neither of my cases have the logo on the front as picture - don't care. I would purchase the longer lasting batteries but these do OK. Nice with the car charger option in the event you need to charge on the road. I was surprised at how bright these are. I love it that you can dim them and change color temperature. I have found that the dimming option is really important.

I so love my LED -312 Kit. It works so well.I love the fact that you can control the light temperature (from warm to cool) and its intensity. I love the packaging and all the pieces that come with it. This is really top of the line for me who has a limited budget for producing films. It works really well if you don't have the money or the fancy professional lighting to make a film. I highly recommend this product

Really love this light, Im a wedding photographer and we use it for our Video. But I also use it for back lighting and such. It has a couple different settings, temperatures, etc.I have owned this for about 6 months now, i have used it at 20 weddings, and i have only had to charge the batteries 3 times. Great buy!
