This casserole pan is so awesome, I love it
I have the Lodge 3.6 quart cast iron enamel casserole pan, and I love it. I also have Lodge dutch ovens in 3 quart, 4.5 quart, 6 quart and 7.5 quart. I have had them all for about six months and I use them all the time. Lodge never claimed that these cast iron enamel coated products are made in America, their cast iron skillets and such are made in America, and I guess if where something is made is what determines whether you like an item, you will most likely not like this casserole pan. I am not sure what some of the reviewers are doing with the casserole pan, or why they have peeled and cracked really bad. I use my casserole pan all of the time. I take care of them, I don't put them in the dishwasher, which is what causes the enamel to crack, I store them carefully, though I guess not too carefully as they are stacked together, and I don't wash them when they are still hot, but I don't let the food sit in them for extended periods either. I do not use this pan as an everyday skillet either, and I don’t believe it was meant for that either, that is what their skillets are for. I heat them up prior to putting food in them to cook, though I do use high temperatures at times. I put them in the oven almost every time I use them after starting on the stove. This casserole pan has held up wonderfully and make the most wonderful meals for me and my family. I love it, and it is not super expensive. Seeing as I have five items from Lodge, if there was really something wrong with the enamel coated products, I would assume I would have experienced something by now with at least one of the ovens or casserole pan, and I have not. Don't put them in the dishwasher!! They will not hold up. These are truly wonderful tools for cooking. I make the best pot roasts, short ribs, chicken coq au vin, and more with them. The 3.6 casserole is perfect for chicken coq au vin, and one pot chicken and rice, and dishes like those. I absolutely love that pan and I use it frequently. I make enough food for four people comfortably, five or six depending on portions. It can fit about 8 chicken thighs with skin and 1 pound baby potatoes or a cup of rice. I will detail the other items that I have below, just as an FYI. I have made pot roast and beef stew in the 3 quart dutch oven, and it has come out so good, so don't pay attention to the people that say you can't do so with the smaller ovens. You 100% can. I make my elder parents food in the 3 quart all the time, and it the makes perfect amount for them to have a couple of dinners. The 3 quart is also great for baked ziti dishes, bread, and the like. This dutch oven is perfect for a single person to make magnificent meals in. The 4.5 quart dutch oven is also perfect for making pot roasts, stews, and such for a couple of people. It has a little more room than the 3 quart, making it perfect for two people. The 6 quart dutch oven is perfect for making food for my husband and I that we can eat for a few days. It is also great for making food when we have company over. This oven would be perfect for a family of four, though you could also make enough for six without leftovers. The 7.5 quart dutch oven is perfect for a large family. I use this when we are eating with my brother and his children, or we are having several couples over and want left overs. My husband loves leftovers. I hope this helps. The only time I have ever written a review this long or detailed is for the Lodge enamel coated items. I really love these products and find them extremely useful. This casserole pan is a wonderful addition to my kitchen.

Fantastic Quality at a Fraction of the Price
I bought this one first and loved it so much that I picked up the 6.5‑quart version at TJ Maxx because Amazon was out of the color I wanted, and I’m so glad I grabbed it. These have become my daily go‑to pieces in the kitchen. They heat evenly, clean easily, and perform every bit as well as my Le Creuset—just without the hefty price tag. For anyone who wants the durability and performance of high‑end enameled cast iron without spending a fortune, this line is an excellent choice.

Ours gets LOTS of use!
I have many cast iron pots and this braiser was great for the price. Perfect for making sweet potato casserole, meat, stews and so many others! It gets alot of use out of it. Would buy again. We got the white. It’s a marshmallow creamy color and very nice.

Pretty and great for cooking
Beautiful white pan. Heavy enameled cast iron so it is heavy. Good price

expensive but worth it
I consider this the ultimate cast iron fry pan. Nice even heat over the whole bottom and a breeze to clean. I also use it for the oven for baking chicken pieces, but mostly I use it on the stove top. This is my 3rd Lodge enamel dutch oven and probably my 10th Lodge product. I don't mind spending the extra money if I feel it's worth it. I've looked at other brands in the store and to me they all looked cheap. I use it a lot more than I thought I would

Nice and BIG
The pot/pan itself is nice. It has all the benefits you would think an enameled cast iron braised would have, including plenty of surface area for searing/browning and plenty of heat retention for slow cooking/braising. The braised is larger than I imagined. The dimensions are accurately described but it is a BIG pan. Also, while the one I purchased was “used - mint” it did have chipped enamel on one of the handles. I’m keeping it because it’s probable that, over the years, I will chip it somewhere and it doesn’t affect the cooking ability of the pan. Why so many people insist on perfection when a blemish doesn’t really alter the usefulness … (let the reader finish the thought).

Love this
I love this pan! So far so good. If you’re debating on getting it don’t think about it any further add it to your cart! It came in perfect condition, one small chip but not completely noticeable, good size for cooking chicken, shrimp, sausage, or to braise chicken in etc. perfect gift to yourself or anyone else.

Performs as well as the more expensive brands. Over a year and still beautiful.
I have a few of the LeCreuset and Staub pots and this one performs as well as both at a much lesser price. I especially like that this pan includes a cover as may of the others don'l. If you are looking for enameled cast iron, you can't go wrong with this pan. UPDATE 09/14/18: I have used this pan quite a few times since i originally bought it and couldn't be more happy with it. I was originally concerned that the creme colored interior would eventually discolor. This hasn't happened. This pan is so easy to clean no matter what I cook in it. The more expensive pans need additional steps to eliminate marks in them from cooking and this on needs nothing. I totally love this pan and will be buying more in different sizes. UPDATE 06/05/19: I have had this pan over a year and it is still as beautiful and stain free as the day I bought it. I tend to use this pan often as it has a cover and is so very easy to clean. The non-stick feature of this pan is nothing less than exceptional. No matter what I cook in it, there is no sticking and nothing seems to stain it. UPDATE 04/01/20: I have now had this pan for over two years , and it is one of my most used pans. I use it weekly for sauteing veggies and for casseroles that start on the stove and go into the oven for finishing. Although I was initially concerned about discoloration on the light colored cooking surface, there has been no discoloration at all. Because of the easy cleanup, I use this pan much more often then some of my more expensive pans. I have been so impressed with this pan, i bought one for my mother's caregiver last Christmas. She and her husband are super picky about cookware and use primarily cast iron. They won't use non-stick cookware of any kind. One day she told me she told her husband she refused to attempt cooking eggs on the cast iron, so I had to buy this for her for Christmas. Since then, she has told me multiple times how much she loves this pan - not only for eggs, but also for cooking dishes that are finished in the oven. If you don't yet have this pan, I have to tell you this is a must-have. I couldn't recommend it more. I hope this review was helpful for you. I will update the review if my opinion changes, but I honestly don't think it ever will.
