Easy to install
Installed these on my LQ horse trailer with no problems. They sound good and look good. They are cheap speakers tho, so my expectations for how long they last is not high. This exact brand and speakers were in my trailer when I bought it and they were toast. The inside part of the speaker dry rotted and was coming apart and the sound was bad. The trailer is only 5 yrs old and who know how long they were bad. So if I get 1-2 yrs out of them, I’ll be happy and then will spend the money to get nicer speakers.

Great price for good speakers!
Bought these Sony speakers to replace what looked like automotive type Pioneer speakers (the Pioneer grill was rusted and rubber around the cone were deformed). Originally was going to go with another brand, but the head unit and from speakers are Sony so decided to stick to the brand. I was hesitant to order them at first because of reviews that they do not last at all. Time will tell and I’ll update in a year. The good: they were easy to install. The holes from the old speakers lined right up. Even if I had to mark the speaker holes that would not have taken long. Sound quality was really good. Not anything that is top of the line but was surprised they sounded this good for the price. The bad: the only thing I can think of is the little speaker connectors. One is quarter inch spade and the other 1/8. I don’t have those little tiny female connectors in my box of wire connectors. Who does? LolOverall I’m very satisfied with these speakers.Hope they last longer than a couple of seasons and I won’t have to downgrade my rating.

Reasonable choice for a older pontoon
Speaker went bad on a 2014 G3 pontoon. These were relatively inexpensive replacement for a stock stereo, that is they fit the existing holes with only minimal drilling for screws that did not line up. Sounds fine, maybe a bit more range than stock. It's a pontoon, didn't need high-end speakers. I would buy these again but hope I won't need to.

Very nice reasonably priced marine speakers
We recently purchased a fully rebuilt pontoon boat that had five (5) of the Sony XSMP1611 speakers installed powered by a Sony CDXH910UI marine radio. One of them had somehow shorted to the point that about 4 inches of speaker wire had melted. We didn't notice this on our walkthrough before we purchased - :(Not wanting to change to a mismatched speaker we purchased this pair - one to replace the failed speaker and one as a spare. We cut back the wire beyond the melted portion - tested with a meter (no issues) and re-ended. The speaker replacement was "pretty easy" - the little tab covers that go over the screws pop in great but are really tight. I had to get a very small screwdrivers (more like one to repair glasses) to pop them out without damaging them (we are keeping the covers for the other speakers as spares). Once the screw covers were off it was super easy - backed out screws put in new speaker and replaced screws. Connected wire and presto we had sound.Sound is good for what they cost and with five all around the boat it will blast you out without distorting.Good choice for a reasonable cost.

Great sounding
Somehow our one speaker on our 2007 Cobalt boat got broken. I searched for a replacement and they are not made anymore. These are the new ones that Sony makes so we bought them. We had been to a couple boat stores and looked at different ones and even bought a different make and installed them but the sound was not great and was much more expensive. My husband returned those and ordered these off Amazon. They are the perfect fit for replacing the old ones and were much easier to install than the other brand. The sound is excellent and they look really nice. Since they are slightly different than the old version, we installed these two in the bow of the boat and kept the others in the back. We do spend a lot of time on our boat in the summer and it is nice to have music. I do think this new version will be stronger especially with the thick plastic across the center of each speaker.

Sony marine speaker
The fit perfect, I just replaced the old ones that I already because they were blown out. These are great fit and sound good. Have them for outside speakers on my 5th wheel

SONY Marine Speakers
This company is reliable, reasonably priced, delivers the product securely packaged and on time as promised. I just hope I get more use out of these speakers than the last pair I purchased. The previous SONY speakers quit working in just a little over a year from date of installation. When I say "quit working" I mean they are DEAD -- failed continuity test. Poor quality when you consider the speakers are enclosed inn a cabinet under a SUNBRELLA bimini top and are used less than 30 hours. The AM/FM/CD receiver is 14 years old and works perfectly as well as the speakers in the interior of the boat.
