Himalayan GlowPink Salt lamp With Neem Wooden Base, (ETL Certified) Dimmer Switch, 4-7 LBS - 2 PACK

I purchased this lamp as a mother's day present for obviously my mother... It had taken me a while to find out what to get her, but I finally decided this was a good idea because she had been wanting it for some time now. Anyway I did order it on a Tuesday or Wednesday before mother's day and in my confirmation it said I would receive it by Friday. Later I received a confirmation from the actual seller of the lamp saying that I would receive it until the Wednesday AFTER mother's day. Again, my fault partly for waiting until last minute, but I had chosen 2 day delivery for this reason. Aside from that the lamp is beautiful and a very good size for price, my mother loves it and I really like the glow it provides. Maybe I will buy one for myself.

I ordered three eleven inch salt lamps from WBM Himalayan Salt Lamps. All three were delivered in a timely manner. However, all three light bulbs were broken and one was shattered. One of the three dimmer, on-off switches was smashed. I left an E-mail on the WBM Himalayan website and asked for replacement parts. Two weeks later, I have still not received a response. I purchased six replacement bulbs and one on-off switch on Amazon and received these parts within two days. Bulb replacements were: (Pack of 6) 40 Watt Clear Candelabra Base (E12) Torpedo Tip 130V Petite Chandelier Bulbs, Sold by Econotone Inc. Switch replacement: Salt Lamp Electrical Socket with Spring Clips and Cord, Sold by HEALTHandMED. The switch was not a dimmer switch. If the lamp is in a bedroom, a dimmer switch is needed to reduce the glow to night light intensity, about 7 watts. The non-dimmer switch was 1/3 the price of the switch with dimmer capability. Two lamps were placed in bedrooms and one in our family room where the lamp operates at 40 Watts all day long.Once repaired, the lamps worked perfectly and besides the reputed health benefits provide a very attractive addition to the room.If WBM had responded to my complaint, this would have been a four star rating.If the lamps had arrived unbroken and operated when plugged in, this would have been a five star rating.I suggest oiling the base for better appearance and increased life.Recommendation to WBM: 1. Provide better customer service. 2. Package the light bulbs in a separate, protected box inside the box with the lamp. Let the purchaser install the lamps ... they will need to do this eventually, so why not protect the bulbs and your reputation with the initial delivery.

I LOVE this lamp! It casts the most beautiful, relaxing light, and it has an undefinable "presence" that's quite mysterious. I sometimes put colored Christmas bulbs in to change the ambiance, but I like the peachy fire-like glow the best.It's the recommended size for my 150 square foot living room in order to create the right amount of ionization according to the instructions. It looks just right. It's the exposure to the surface area that's important, so I think that if you like the large salt lamp baskets better  WBM 8-Inch Wide and 7-Inch Tall Round Basket Lamp filled with Himalayan Natural Crystal Salt Chunks  that they have just about the same surface area for a little less money.Supposedly by cleaning the air of dust particles these lamps help asthma and other respiratory disorders. I wouldn't notice because I don't have any trouble with my lungs, but others swear by them. They're also supposed to neutralize the electrical impact of electronic equipment. I keep it right by where I use my laptop which I lay directly on my knees, so hopefully it will offer some protection.The price on Amazon with the free shipping is better than you'll find anywhere else. It arrived quickly and without any damage.As I've said, I love this very unique lamp, so I'm going to buy another for my bedroom, and buy several of both the lamps and the baskets (which look like miniature fire pits)for gifts.Very highly recommended! One of my favorite things!

Very pleased with the appearance of this lamp, much nicer than in the photo for the product. Emits a beautiful orange glow! Only comes with an on/off switch where I feel a dimmer switch would make the lamp even more appealing where you could adjust the glow on the fly without changing to a different watt bulb. Product description states that it comes with a bulb, however, I actually purchased 2 of these lamps and neither one arrived with a bulb. The product description is obviously not accurate. As for it being healthy, both my wife and I agree that we do much less sneezing in the rooms that we have these lamps in. Pleased with our purchase.

I have bought three of these lamps so far, 2 for my home and 1 as a gift. I have had no problems with either of them and leave them on 24/7. They do eliminate odors and create an ambiance for the home.The last i ordered was a little smaller than indicated and so i emailed back and forth with Bargain Ben and he was very helpful and responsive. He accommodated to my needs and i will be ordering another lamp soon.

I bought this for my husband, I have owned similar ones in the past so I am familiar with how they work. It looks cool when it is lit up and give our bedroom a soft glow, but the bulb is under powered. The salt needs to heat up a bit to produce the ions needed to clean the air and the size of the salt rock is way to big to be heated up with the tiny night light bulb provided. It is purely decorative.

I opened this and was somewhat disappointed in the weight. The description states 15-20 pounds, at least that is what I ordered. After all the packaging was removed the actual lamp only weighs 12 pounds. I weighed it on my digital scale and my neighbors just to be certain. I will keep the lamp because it is pretty (my third one) but I paid less for one of my others with the same weight. That is why I ordered the largest I could find. The weight description is misleading.

I just love my lamp! It came very nicely packaged and it lit up the whole room just perfectly. It has a nice subtle glow too it and I normally have it plugged in all day long. I noticed that the air is a lot clearer, I can breathe better and my anxiety is a lot better after using this lamp in my house. It comes with a pretty long cord and you can adjust the light depending how bright or dim you want it. Just make sure that the salt lamp is not in direct sunlight or it may melt a bit. Put it in your bedroom or out of the windows if there is sun. The rock itself is very heavy and of very good quality. It comes with a very nice wooden base too add too the light which is a very nice touch. I also like that it has little legs on the bottom of the base too make sure it doesn't slide or damage your counters. It weighs a good 30lbs so make sure you have it out of the way of things. I loved this rock so much that I bought another one 2 weeks later and I will defiantly be buying another one for my bedroom soon! A++

UPDATE: NOV 2, 2017.Just thought I'd mention the price gouging increase to $60 from $27 a few weeks ago. Not cool sellers. Glad I bought a couple at the right time. Down to 4 stars from 5.*original post*Holy crap, this thing is HEAVY! Honestly, for the cost this is a bargain. I'm obsessed and in love with salt lamps but they are expensive. They are beautiful, unique, have many benefits (Google it) and also helped clear up a persistent cough that the 3 of us could not get rid of for weeks... in just a few days and it's not a coincidence. We are true believers of its power. This is our 3rd one. EPIC, 5 stars, A+, wow! Go Amazon. ($27) Please don't raise your prices because I want one in every room.

For the price it's okay, however be aware that you are not buying a top quality product. The lamp has a lot of imperfections (I know it's supposed to be normal, but those appear more to be scratches/impacts caused by bad handling and careless finish). The wood base seems a bit small and fragile given the size and weight of the lamp, and the light dimmer has already started to be capricious (you need to turn it on one side, and then slightly on the other in order to totally turn off the lamp. A bit annoying!). Plus the lamp really only shines from the bottom, so half of it is always dark-ish (and regardless you get a glow that is too yellow to my taste, instead of a warm amber). Aside from that it works well, the light it emits is still quite relaxing and I think it makes me sleep a bit better. This is a good example of you get what you pay for, but I don't have any deal breaker to report so far. At this price I'd probably buy it again, and you can already reap all the benefits of Himalayan salt lamps with this one, but they could care more about the small details.

Poor experience. Package came re-tape and damaged by rain/ water. Lamp base is partially broken. Product is heavy ( which we knew) and makes it hard to return back for a refund. So refund is not an option but to put this product in the trash. Terrible!

Actually real do yay! Plus it's very nice too. Electrics are looking old school but it's not. It's certified so the electrics are fine. I love it.-edited. So people have asked questions and here is better derail. It's about 24 lbs after all the severe damp. It's supposed have a tiny amount of a wet cloth as maintenance I would say because of humidity. Well it's salt, you need to keep it clean. If your in a damp area make sure it's not wet, dry it off. If you have mild humidity and it's cold, like this time of year for me, it's most likely coming soaking. Dry it off, then wipe it down with a wet cloth and leave it out to get warm then use it. If your in a really humid area and you find its wet even with the light on bump the bulb up by 10 watts. That should resolve anything. If it's super dry wet your salt with a cloth every few days or so. The weight will vary in the peramiters because water equals weight. Salt is heavy on its own but water effects weight so expect it. These are cut by hand to the shape and diameters so weight varies also that way. You have to remember this is hand cut, not machined or moulded. If it was moulded it's not real and if it's machined that's just weird to me. Every one is different in colour and possible lines of soil, don't be freaked out its normal. This listing is really reasonable to pricing, this size and weight in stores where I am it's around $150 and up so I'm very happy with mine. If I could include a picture of mine I would but I can't. Hope this helps others, new things are a learning experience so I get the anxiety towards putting money down on this but it's really a great price. I Honnestly love dusting and cleaning mine, she is pretty. Oh wait I can add pictures! OK first is it with no flash do you see the light on all the way and the second has a flash so you can see it better. I can't tell if the loaded sideways so not sure how to change it but there ya go.
